The petition states that “Cleveland, Ohio is consistently ranked as one of the top ten most dangerous cities in America.”

But, “This doesn’t even begin to factor in the possibility of an ISIS terrorist attack on the arena during the convention. Without the right to protect themselves, those at the Quicken Loans Arena will be sitting ducks, utterly helpless against evil-doers, criminals or others who wish to threaten the American way of life.”

The petition also notes, “All three remaining Republican candidates have spoken out on the issue and are unified in their opposition to Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s ‘gun-free zones.'”

What could possibly go wrong? Especially since Trump warned of the possibility of riots if he wasn't the nominee?

I guess that's one way to hasten the inevitable implosion of the GOP.

This is like giving some nasty little kids sharp knives and locking them a room for a few hours together.

Maybe they can have the guys who took over that federal building out in the boonies in Oregon as guest speakers about the tyranny of the guv'mint.

Come to think of it, I've got this image in mind - did you watch 2001: A Space Odyssey? If you did, think back to the opening scene, the apes before the monolith while "Also Sprach Zarathustra" was playing....

I guess in the far left take on the world, GOP delegates are dangerous people

They certainly are. They're going to likely nominate Donald Trump for President, or possibly Ted Cruz. That's pretty dangerous.

I kind of like the idea of all the GOP delegates in Cleveland being well armed. Especially at the convention itself. It could have real benefit to the American people.

dangerous meaning they are going to cut off the gravy train or that they won't allow the nanny state government to take over businesses based on the global warming hysteria?

Why wouldn't it be allowed exactly?

No, neither.

There really isn't a 'gravy train', unless you consider Social Security and a pittance for food stamps as gravy, and the existence of AGW is just a basic concept that most GOP politicians reject because they pander toward their ignorant base at the behest of their fossil fuel donors.

well then how are they dangerous? does any rational person think delegates to either the GOP or the DNC convention are going to be criminally inclined?

Another "Goof" off comment. Hillary is 3rd on the list of 20 who get the highest amounts of fuel donors.

Hillary faithful tend to support a Hillary they think will exist sometime in the future, rather than the one we have seen for the last 25 years

LOL...he will scramble around the net for 10-15 minutes looking for a rebuttal......just because!

lmao

No, but they are human and humans sometimes act on emotion.

that is a pretty worthless comment. We have seen that CCW permit holders have extremely low rates of violent crime. worrying about GOP delegates being armed is up there with worrying about being buggered by an escaped Zoo Hippo that found a stash of Viagra after it left its confines

Was I not clear in my comment?

Anyone nominating Trump or Cruz is inherently dangerous. Possibly unhinged.

Many of us feel the same way about those who support a goofy and unrealistic socialist or a lying pandering bitch who was responsible for our people being murdered in Benghazi

To each his own.

But there's a reason why your party is disintegrating before your eyes.

your wishful thinking means nothing to me

Well, we do know one person involved with the democratic convention is 'criminally inclined'.

It wouldn't suprise me if some of them want weapons to protect themselves from Trump rioters, rather than riot with them. For better or for worse, the worst case scenario here has all the big reasons for guns out on display.
