"Former President Bill Clinton slammed what he called the "awful legacy of the last eight years" during a campaign appearance for his wife, Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton, in Washington state Monday."

Bill Clinton slams 'awful legacy of the last eight years', claims he was criticizing Republicans | Fox News

Makes you wonder what Bill and Hillary are whispering in each others ears during those quiet moments at the mansion. Wasn't his wife a part of that legacy?

Only one's ear Hillary is whispering in is Huma's

I dunno.

After reading the article, it could be reasonably possible President Clinton was indeed referring to the GOP; It's hard to tell for sure. He did immediately refer to President Bush & the GOP failures giving the mess to President Obama, so that would seem to lend the same train-of-thought.

Yes. He did mention the "prior seven years" (i.e. Bush years). Once again it is Bush's fault. The actual video seems to say what it says. He can back track all he would like. The truth slipped out. Rarely do the pols talk about "legacy" in response to a political party. "Legacy" is what Obama is most concerned about and frankly failing.

In defense of poor-old Bill Clinton, the man is not very bright, being the only President (other than Andrew Johnson) to be impeached. xD

The only truth slipping out is the truth that you wanted to hear before he started speaking.

No doubt a Freudian slip, The Clinton's still need to be nice to Obama,
Hillery may still need a pardon!

Video: Bill clinton slams obama's 'awful 8 year legacy'

This statement just might mean a prison term for his wife.

Re: Video: Bill clinton slams obama's 'awful 8 year legacy'

The only ones who are hell bent on taking a statement from the candidate's spouse, and extrapolating that Hillary or even Bill has "slammed" Obama are the same ones that were previously convinced that Obama has an awful legacy to begin with and are just looking for quotes through a lens of confirmation bias.

On a related note, has anyone else noticed that some of the same individuals who are so willing to jump and harp on a quote taken out of context to reflect a previously held belief like, "You didn't build that" or "Fundamentally change America" are now working extremely hard to add some imaginary context to Trump quotes - like the ones in my signature?

What part of "awful legacy of last 8 years" did you miss?

Wonder how Obama will take it?

Add this to the list of famous Clinton quotes like, "A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee"

Better than having a divorce, I guess.

LOL, that exposed you right there. A spouse? You mean the 42nd president of the United States is now just a junior leaguer good for nothing other than organizing debutante balls?
