Many Democrat feminists disagree with Carly Fiorina on some issues, but they are powerfully attracted to her candidacy nonetheless. It is an important dynamic as disappointment with Hillary grows.

Carly Cleans Up - Noemie Emery, Washington Examiner

"As a scandal-plagued Hillary Clinton continues to flail, feminists have seen there's a woman out there who's cleaning her clock as a candidate, fulfilling their dreams of a powerful woman, except that she isn't one of their own. She's pro-life, pro-markets and very pro-power. And she's causing a crisis among female Democrats, who long to embrace her, but can't. "Carly Fiorina is the candidate I wanted Hillary Clinton to be," said one wistful feminist. Another asked, "Can you love a campaign, but hate a candidate's policies?" And a third noted, "As a lot of feminists cheered her on during that [debate] performance, we were loathing her actual policies. There's an excitement and a horror that those two … co-exist." But they do co-exist, and it's not getting better. Which is giving the sisterhood fits. . . .

As to Hillary, it's clear now she isn't a star, but a moon who shone briefly in the glow of Bill Clinton. He who gave her the exposure and chances she would not have had otherwise, at the same time that his escapades made her a martyr, a sure road into some women's hearts. Minus all this, she seems clueless and charmless, with a sense of entitlement the size of Nebraska and a truly Nixonian penchant for lawlessness. Like Nixon, she has to work hard just to seem human, and she relies on focus groups to find "the real Hillary." Alas, the "real Hillary" is all too apparent, and has been revealing herself for some time. . . . "

LOL....you have seriously go to be kidding....LOL. Fiorina got TROUNCED by the female vote in her Senate Campaign. Women are great judges of her character and abilities.

I wouldn't be surprised. She basically is a feminist, aside from her opposition to abortion.

1.)Thats a huge issue
2.)What about child care?
3.)What about equal pay?
4.)Anti-feminist women exist. Ever hear of Phyllis Schlafly?

I don't think child care or equal pay would be differences between Fiorina and Dem feminists.

1.)Thats a huge issue

Sure, but there have been feminists who opposed abortion. The pro-abortion feminists are more consistent in their adherence to that vile ideology, but nonetheless.

What about those things?

Carly isn't one of them.

That's wishful thinking, IMO. Democratic Party members who are women are not going to vote for Fiorina.

Not all women are Democrats or liberals. A large percentage are conservative. If they're not voting for Republicans, it's likely because of their extreme stances in recent years on some issues, like doing away with Social Security (privatizing it is doing away with it; this is a women's issue, to a large extent), doing away or gutting Medicare, birth control, work related issues especially dealing with maternity, education, and other things. Also, the lack of female conservative politicians supported by the GOP, or female judges nominated (look at a pic of conservative Congress members; look at a pic of conservative Supreme Court Justices). It's the same ol' same ol'...except there's a couple of hispanics, now....and one or two black men. At least some of them are younger, now. Used to be almost all of them were old, millionaire, often overweight white guys.

Perhaps you did not read all the way to the end?

They might be less shocked if they'd taken proper note of the Tea Party midterms of 2010, when the balance of power in female politicians began to tilt the Republicans' way. The parties each have three female governors, but only two — Republicans Nikki Haley and Susanna Martinez — are plausible picks for a national ticket. Democrats have fourteen female senators to six for the Republicans, but four of these were elected in 2010 and 2014, while many of the Democrats stem from the 1992 "Year of the Woman" and look and act like it. The young and the restless are not the liberals. The force and the future are no longer with them.

As I said, the Republicans need to look at the reasons they don't have a diversified Congressional presence, to the same degree as the Democrats. The Republicans have a lot of women in its ranks, so why do they sometimes not vote Republican? Could it be comments by key Republicans, like "binders full of women," "look at that face...who would vote for that?" "rape is to be expected when you put women and men together," "I don't support any exceptions to an abortion ban," "Hillary Clinton can't satisfy her husband," "Bette Midler's ugly face and body are offensive," "women who experience legitimate rape rarely experience pregnancy because the body won't allow pregnancy to occur," "God intended [pregnancy from rape] to happen," and so on (comments by Republican politicians).

After 2010 Republican states passed an unprecedented 1100+ legislations against health concerns and reproductive rights of women.
Republicans voted against domestic violence bill.
Republicans were against ACA mandate that ins. cos. cover birth control.
Republicans convened an all male Congressional panel to investigate contraception by women.
Defunding of Planned Parenthood, one of the few resources available to poor women for birth control. (Abortion represents less than 3% of what PP does.)
Republicans eliminated, in our assistance to other poor nations, assistance regarding birth control.
Republican launch of proposal to eliminate WIC, a program to assist poor pregnant women, and to assist with buying milk for poor babies (program has a surplus).
Republicans have voted against all equal pay bills.

And so on. I'm not saying all the bills above were good, but it looks like Republican men are obsessed with women's pay and reproductive rights, and not in a good way.

The U.S. electorate is quite a bit different from California.

Women throughout the United States are as smart as women in California. They can look at Fiorina and see exactly what she is. There is no way that she garners much support from women...despite your fantasies.

I think real feminists will be attracted to Carly's campaign, but the fake feminists, i.e. leftists, will just work to tear her down.

I'm a woman who happens to like Fiorina, a lot. I also know lots of other women who like Fiorina. Unlike California women, we don't tend to support Liberals.

I didn't say she wouldn't attract ANY women....hell...Donald Trump will attract some women....but women by and large see Fiorna for the incompetent bitch that she is. She won't get much female support.

...So feminists who support equality under the law are fake feminists?

How on earth does that work?

At any rate, I can't say I find her even slightly appealing.

I saw some recent polls that say the exact opposite of what you're saying here.

Carly's whole purpose in life and reason for being born is to peel away feminist support from Hillary.

If Carly happens to get elected POTUS in the process that is fine with me too.

However I believe Carly will end up as the VP right behind either The Donald or The Jeb.

It is dishonest to call someone incompetent who inherited a no win situation and who dealt with it as best as she could.

I know there are a bunch of greedy stockholders who wish that their Faerie Godmothers had brought them dividends from their nosediving HP stock.

But not even Faerie Godmothers can do what it sometimes takes Santa Claus himself at Xmas time to deliver.

I don't know if The Donald will ever be able to live down that ad hom against Carly's pretty face.

Carly actually looks pretty good for a young senior. And she can be quite charming even in her insults back to The Donald.

I am looking forward to seeing her as either the next VP or POTUS.

Either way she would be better than anyone currently in the DEM runoffs.

Not sure what decoder ring you're using to read my post, but it might need to be recalibrated.
