And this is why I almost don't bother voting. The only people I even moderately agree with are wrong on the most important issues. And if I were to dig past the hot-button issues to the things that I consider really important, I'm willing to bet they wouldn't stand with me on those, either.

I like these things for early research into candidates but past that it's iffy. Just too hard to have "agree/disagree" type questions on major issues, as the implementation is more important than the issue itself IMO.

I agree, this isn't a very useful test, pretty much every candidate it recommended disagreed with me on all of the important issues. They really need to rank what's most important to a person and eliminate completely those candidates that have an opposing view on that subject. For me, citizenship for illegals pretty much knocks out every candidate since I will not vote for anyone who supports it, period.
