Anyway, I thought that both Clinton and Obama did well, while it seems like Edwards wasn't able to gain any ground at all. As for the rest of the group, Kucinich was the only one who seemed capable of rallying the AFL-CIO crowd like Obama or Clinton could.
Initial reactions, please.

Awards: | Re: MSNBC Democratic Debate I didn't watch it but Chris Matthews et al said that Hillary is still the front runner but now she is getting support from third tier candidates like Edwards and Dodd in attacking Obama.
They say it makes sense for the others to attack Obama because they want to be in his position and they know he is out of his depth and won't win it. |

Current Mood: | Re: MSNBC Democratic Debate Is Obama the new Bush? Quote: The 'President' of Canada
In answering a question about NAFTA, Obama said he would call the presidents of Mexico and Canada on his first day in the White House to get labor provisions into NAFTA.
Sen. Joe Biden (Del.) was next and made clear that it was the "prime minister" of Canada not the president, flexing his foreign policy credentials.
Did others notice? And is it part of the broader storyline about Obama's familiarity with foreign policy?

Is it a new phase this country is going through that we refer to each other via their middle name?
You just can't reference him without slandering can you? |
