    Voter fraud

Did someone say there's no such thing as voter fraud?

Poll worker accused of voter fraud in Hamilton County speaks out

It's really something when the perp admits to multiple offenses ... and then essentially says so what ... it was for Obama.

She must have been the only one ... yeah, that's it.

Yep. If two people per year commit mass murder with AWs then we need antional action, if two cases of voter fraud are discovered it is "statistically insignificant" and no action should result. If more felons/dead folks voted than the margin of victory, we are told that is OK, all was fair and just (if the correct party won).

    Re: Voter fraud

19 cases of vote fraud in a county which cast 564,429 votes

Even if all 19 cases were proven to be accurate that would only represent less than 0.0034 percent of the countys voters

Requiring ID would not have fixed that one. Try again.

Flip it around and that's exactly what the other party says. Two cases of voter fraud and we need laws and national voter ID, but two mass murders are insignificant.

Yep. Yet both parties seem to agree that positive ID is important just for different things.

    Good morning, Bubba.

If that was Hamilton County in Ohio...I didn't see the article... it doesn't surprise me. I live in Ohio, and it was strange how it progressed during the evening, very close at times and wildly different at others.

Carl Rove may be nuts, but when they called it for Obama before all the votes were counted, I agreed with him. Why bother voting if it doesn't matter?

It's actually up to maybe even 28!

I think it's fair to toss out those 28 votes. Let's say Obama got 25 and Romney got 3. So now it's 219,902 for Obama, and 193,323 for Romney. Wow, real game changer. If that happened in every county, why the election would have turned out exactly the same!

By the way, check on page 12. One of the districts had 10 voters, which was 100% turnout. Of those 10, Romney got 9. Hmmmm.....

    Re: Voter fraud

The conservative focus on voter fraud was always that voters would lie about their identities when they went to vote, not that poll workers would forge voting numbers. The former basically never happens, but that's what the recent debate was over. This latter kind, that does happen, was not. Just to be clear that we're all talking about the same thing and not using one issue to pretend that another issue is a problem.

Casting a vote as someone else is lying about your identity. Whether or not you're a poll worker. It was just easier for her. And that one was a real trip. Felt totally justified. Had no business being in that position.
But in any event, fraud is fraud.

Hi Pol ... I can see how results may fluctuate wildly as counties report, and Rove knows that and usually he won't make a jackass out of himself like that.
But dismissing fraud of any size like I see here should disturb everyone ... no matter who benefits.
