It is a mecha real time strategy game, ala Red Alert, Age of Empires, or Supreme Commander(which is closest and made by some of the same people). It was really well done, though lacking in so many of the modern conveniences. Graphics where mediocre to decent for when it was released(1997). I would not recommend it now as it is just too dated, but the Supreme Commander games are worthy followups with better graphics and more modern controls and I would recommend those games.
