Both on my own PC and the one at my office, I have noticed that some emails disappear after a few days. Any explanation for this?
I certainly did not delete them. There were a couple instances where I wanted to retrieve the mail but after searching could not be found.

Do you work with Hillary?
;)

We need much more information to help you. Is this email a private email account through an ISP, or something work related, or some web based service such as gmail? Have they been flagged as SPAM or some other danger by a third party application or service? What was the nature of the emails? Did they have attachments, or were they HTML format emails that point to websites for content?

Do you have an iPad? Is it Gmail? Need far more information :)

The disappearing emails occur both at home and at work. These are emails from coworkers or from vendors when I shop something online. As far as I am concerned they are simple ordinary e-mails with no attachments. The disappearing emails at work i did notice were all from the same individual.

Glowpun: I'm curious. If this is off your private email account at home and at office, do you have your email (program) settings set to delete certain emails at your office or at home? (Example: the company or your home may have set email rules to delete any emails with certain titles or senders.)

Also check junk email folders.

If you find out that you do not see any of these rules set on your home computer or office, I would suspect the problem to first be with the one in your office. Have you checked with personnel in IT? (Internet Technologies or the person that is in charge of the computers at work.)

Depending on who it is coming from,

Or perhaps any of these programs/services

Again more info needed.. like what service? I know there has been a "nasty bug" in iOS and Macs for a while with Gmail that makes emails poof.. it could be that.
