Trashed flash disk

I was using a colleague's computer to print something from my flash disk the other day and forgot to remove it from the USB port. I was off the following day and called another co-worker, asking her to retrieve it lest someone walk off with it. It looks like she removed it without stopping it and now I can't access the data.

Anybody know how to retrieve the data on a trashed flash disk?
