I think Vancouver is getting better with each series and will take this in 5 games. Boston is pretty battered and weary and have little left in the tank. Sorry, Soccerboy... it was a nice run while it lasted.

It isn't over till its over. If Game 7 Bruins show up at least three times I think they have a real shot at taking it. My only request, is that when I go to the game, they don't lose.

In response to a television report that once again named a filmmaker as an interested party in purchasing the Thrashers, team president Don Waddell issued the following statement on Friday afternoon. It indicates that another party this week expressed an interest in the Thrashers to keep the team in Atlanta.

Perhaps Obama can bail out the franchise?

Atlanta had the Flames, they went to Calgary, now the Thrashers, off to Winnipeg to replace the Jets who went to Phoenix. No worries, Atlanta should get another team in your lifetime.

I wish Phoenix was more conservative, if they didn't pony up 25 million to keep the Yotes in Glendale it would be them, and not us moving.

Canada has hosted the Olympic Games three times. In 1976, Montreal hosted the Summer Games and won the Stanley Cup the following year. In 1988, Calgary hosted the Winter Games and won the Stanley Cup the following year. Vancouver hosted the Winter Games in 2010, so it's destiny baby!

We don't believe in destiny here because we are liberal communist heathens. What I do know is for the past few years the City has been disappointed with our performance with our teams in the playoffs, mostly because of ****ty injuries. (Yeah I am looking at you God Brady and Perk). So, I am hoping they can steal a game in Vancouver and then feed off of that energy in Boston.


Oh for my trash talk: Canada sucks.

To be more specific, we don't have socialized medicine, let's say for example you're a foreigner in England visitinh and you get hurt or sick, theres a good chance you can get your hospital/doctors visit for free.

Canada doesnt have a national health service, it has independent provincial socialized health insurance... So for example, I just moved from ontario to alberta, and now i have to sign up to albertas health plan... Every province has different policies, for example in BC you have to pay 56 dollars a month to use it, whereas here you don't, but for example, here doesn't have provincial GST :mrgreen:

So...biting. What the hell...

Vancouver has to play alot better than they are if they want to win the cup. And how the hell did Sedin not get an embellishing penalty for that sad flop after being pushed in front of the net? Refs calling it close and let that go?
