Not great news, things still up in the air, but it's not over yet either.In response to a television report that once again named a filmmaker as an interested party in purchasing the Thrashers, team president Don Waddell issued the following statement on Friday afternoon. It indicates that another party this week expressed an interest in the Thrashers to keep the team in Atlanta.

Atlanta had the Flames, they went to Calgary, now the Thrashers, off to Winnipeg to replace the Jets who went to Phoenix. No worries, Atlanta should get another team in your lifetime.
