Yay! Matt Moore had a great end of the season last season. He beat the Vikings and the Tampa Bay. I am psyched!

I am so glad they got rid of Delhomme!
~Following My Own Flow~

Delhomme will go somewhere, and probably even start. He's not too far removed from a Super Bowl where he pretty much carried the offense on his back. He's had a down time as of late, but he's far from an empty tank. He needs new scenery, preferably with a better O-line as he's not very mobile anymore.
Same thing with McNabb. Philly needs him more than he needs them, and this will show next year.

Told you![]()
Delhomme has a horrible mental block ever since that abysmal playoff game and has just not been himself. The Offense worked amazingly better with Moore once he got put in and he has the coaches trust. I'm somewhat surprised by the releasing of Delhomme, but without hte cap this is the time to do it so it makes sense. I was not surprised with the notion that the Panther's were likely done with Delhomme as a starter though.
Those who give up essential liberty for a little temporary safety deserve neither. However if you're giving it up to get a a bunch of free stuff then that's cool.
I think this was a good idea on the Panthers part because the way Delhomme has been playing the last couple years with the terrible amount of interceptions he's thrown it was time for them to look for another QB to take his job. I expect Matt Moore to have a better touchdown/interception ratio than Delhomme had. Only off season issue they have so far is the loss of Julius Peppers, That's going to hurt them big time defensively.

Yep. Lots of fun memories when I was younger going to JMU football games, not so much with regards to the Browns games though. Ugg. Though those led to one akward moment.
My first christmas with my girlfriend and she was heading up to Michigan with me to visit family, and as a stop over we were going to a christmas eve game between the Browns and Steelers (take a wild guess who won). We stopped at her families place before we went up to have a quick psuedo christmas and I got to meet her siblings. They're asking what we'll be doing and I explain the game, my uncle, etc. They asked where he's coached and I run it down a bit, mentioning how he was the head coach for Memphis when they upset Peyton and the Vols in 1996.
Yeah, didnt know wat that point her brother went to Tennessee. That little anecdote was not well recieved.
And I blame the name on crazy pennsylvania people. I'm sure its short for something but you know, I've only ever called him Rip so i'm actually not sure what it would be.
I'm sincerely hoping that the Panthers do well this year so they keep Fox. Its definitely nice having them close by now (though Cleveland wasn't that far its just...who wants to go to Cleveland)
