Quote:
Renault's Fernando Alonso took a superb victory in the Japanese Grand Prix as title rivals Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa collided in a dramatic race.
Hamilton made a poor start, ran off the road at the first corner and was tipped into a spin by Massa on lap two.
Both were given penalties for different incidents but Massa recovered to take seventh and cut Hamilton's lead to five points with two races left.

Race report
Last year Hamilton led the championship by 60 points at one stage and even at the end of the season he had 17 points over his nearest rivals with 2 races remaining and ended up losing the championship by 1 point.
Tokyo showed us a talented but flawed driver who might just make the same mistakes again. He started the race from the front only to cause problems for himself and others when all he needed to do was finish ahead of his title rival. We're on familiar ground now - there are two races left but he leads by 15 points and again all he needs to do is keep ahead of his rival but I think prospects aren't good.
Apparently, he's been in pole position 8 times this year but only gone on to finish in first twice this year. He's better when he's chasing, he can't seem to deliver when out in front.
