Personally, I'm a bit surprised that the Lakers even made it as far as they did. They're a fairly new team, who has gotten quite a few new players this year. Fisher is an exception, I guess, since he wasn't gone for that long. But the main thing about them was finding thier styles and working together.

What was surprising was that the Lakers seemed to play very well with thier new set up, despite having to adapt when Bynum left for surgery, and adapting again when Gasol came on board. Ariza could have been better if he had actually played during the season.

I'm looking forward to watching the next 5 years in the NBA. It seems the rivalry has officially been revived.
