Russian Olympic Chief to Step Down; Putin Hints at Other Changes

A behind-the-scenes sack by an embarrassed Putin two months after the Rio Olympics in which hundreds of Russian athlete's were banned for doping.

A second World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) investigation to be concluded shortly is expected to find that 50% of Russian medal winners at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics had their positive drug tests altered by Russian state authorities.

Autocrats tend to not ever be at fault and hatchet the one acting on their orders.

If 50% or even CLOSE to that number were altered, the problem is not with the Russians. It's with the whole shootin' match.

All Olympic athlete tests went through the Russian lab at Sochi. All Russian urine samples went to a hidden room connected to the main testing lab via a trap-door.

Makes my point. What sense does THAT make? What? The Olympic Committee has loose screws? What a world. They should have a twenty-year ban.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) "trusts" the Russians.

After all, Russia is a huge financial contributor to the IOC and spent billions on the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.

The Russian whistle-blowers (two lab technicians and a track athlete) certainly didn't go to the IOC with their testimony and evidence.
