Starts tomorrow night with Cal vs Hawaii in Australia. Why Australia? I have no idea, but it must involve money somehow.

Best bet in Vegas is Florida Gators to win National Championship

As I recall, you've said you're a Gator alumnus?

Re: 2016 College Football Season Thread

From USA Today:
It used to be that college football fans cared if their team was better than your team. Now they also care if their conference is better than your conference.

We at USA TODAY Sports wanted to help clarify the answer by collecting and analyzing performance data for every FBS team in every conference. By combining strength of schedule data, rankings from the College Football Computer Composite, points per game differential, yards per play differential and a new metric called Non-conference Performance, we’ve created the USA TODAY Sports College Football Conference Rankings. Bragging Rights: USA TODAY Sports College Football Conference Rankings

Guess which Conference is ranked first?

I'm not holding out a lot of hope for the Wildcats this season but we have both USC and Stanford at home (back to back!) which could be an advantage. Other than UCLA in Pasadena our schedule doesn't look too dramatic. I figure a 7-5 season would be a win for us.

Re: 2016 College Football Season Thread

I love the SEC. And unless Mizzou is playing my favorites, go Mizzou!!

Lots of the time, yes. Sometimes, I'm all Geaux, Tigers, though. Depends. But I really, really love the entire SEC.

Fournette should win the Heisman this year. LSU could take it to the house as well. They are going to have a very good season. I like LSU and I like Les Miles, except when they are playing Georgia.

Go Dawgs!

typical from a non college graduate.

UF is consistently ranked in the top 50 of all Universities and here in the prestigious US News and World Report is ranked as the 14th best public university.

Top Public National Universities | Top Public Schools | US News Best Colleges

Everyone knows the US News and World Report is a communist publication.

Zomg!!!!!!! It's about to get going. Come on UGA bulldogs and UNM lobos. And most importantly... Valdosta state blazers!

Wife said..."We got free tickets to this music fest next Saturday" and I said, "Well, enjoy yourself."

UGA is going to put on a running back clinic this year.

well it's not like they will be able to get it done through the air. Chubb is special but none of the others are. Florida and to a lesser extent UT look to be the deepest in the SEC at RB

Very wrong buddy. UGA bagged the #1 qb recruit in the nation in Jacob Eason and he is something special.

As far as running backs.. you just wait and see. Evander holyfield's son is very impressive and so is Brian Herrien. It's going to be great. Just hope Kirby has the defense up to snuff.

Bad news for you the LB's suck. Eason has a chance to be good but he's a pro style freshman QB this year he will suck balls. Look for more Gator dominance in Jville. I will be there.
