Copa America

2 World cups, 14 Copa America titles and 2 Olympic gold medals. That is one hell of a better record than most other teams.

Germany

4 World cups, 3 European Championships

Italy

4 World cups, 1 European Championships

Not too bad a record if you ask me..

The who is?

Maradona nor Pele never won the Copa America..

Messi won Olympic gold.. something Maradona nor Pele never did.

Granted Maradona won one World Cup, and Pele won several.

Or is it Ronaldo you are looking at? A man who has won nothing on international level, and yes he wont win the Euros either.

So who is the best ever and what is your criteria? And no I am not saying it is Messi, my personal is Pele to be honest.

yes but I cant forgive him for the headbutt. Same cant forgive Maradona for his doping.. well cocaine habit.

Pele (Still get a kick watching his old games... )
Messi
Garrincha (I have seen old games with him, and have to say he was majestic and his football brain.. wow. His biggest problem was he was the same generation as Pele)
Beckhenbaur (even though he is an ass, best defender/leader of any football team ever)
Maradona
Xavi (best midfielder ever)
Del Piero (was just something about him... )
Zidane (his headbutt cost him a few places on my list.. could have been above Xavi and even Maradona)
Ronaldo (new one)
Ronaldinho (he could have been the best... but his party life style ruined that)
