The Seattle Seahawk's defense has led the NFL in scoring defense 4 years in a row.(I don't know if that has been done before or not) And yet not one All Pro.
True, but Seattle's best defensive players like Wagner, Bennet, and Sherman happened to play positions that were blocked by true superstars like Watt and Kuechly, or people who had fantastic years like Norman.
Plus, Seattle's defense was buoyed this year by getting to face Nick Foles, Case Keenum, Colin Kaepernick, Blaine Gabbert, Matt Cassel, Johnny Manziel, Teddy Bridgewater, and Jimmy Clausen twice for 9 of their games. All of them have a passer rating below 90, and most of them well below average. They also missed out on Levon Bell, Todd Gurley, Carlos Hyde, and Justin Forsett.
In their other games they gave up 27 points against Rodgers, 27 against Dalton, 27 against Newton, 30 against Big Ben, and 39 against Palmer. They did hold Stafford to 10, although the missed KJ Wright call would probably up that to 17, and they did hold the Cardinals to 6 in a game that they rested their starters around half time.
I'm not saying they don't have a good defense, because they do, probably around top 5 in the league, but I don't think it's a travesty they don't have any all-pros.
