NHL 2015-2016 Season

Bragging about beating up on Toronto is similar to bragging about beating up school children.

It was not so much bragging about beating up Toronto as it was marveling at the pace of the beatdown.

There is only one team I hate more than Toronto. Beat 'em all you want.

So my Coyotes are inexplicably 2-0. Go figure.

It only took the Flyers about 70 minutes of regular season hockey to prove they can stink up the ice like nobody's business.

Game 2 was a disaster. The only thing worth mentioning is that I'd rather they flush themselves in game 2, than do something similar in January, February, or March.

Toronto is going to want to play Ottawa a lot more often.

If they played Ottawa 82 games a year, they would win at a very high clip and make the playoffs. Otherwise they couldn't beat the last placed team at the Special Olympics.

They just showed the highlights of the Pens game...every single Habs goal, Pitt was just standing there. Just horrible.

Even if it's only game #4 of the season - I'll enjoy a Flyers shut-out victory over Chicago. Yes I will.

:2dance::2dancing:

Can somebody explain my Coyotes to me please? They were supposed to suck this season.

Week 2....

No, really, it is too early to really say a team is great or sucks. Really.

I get that, but all the preseason pundits (including me) have them finishing last in the NHL (not just the west). However, they are playing very well at the start. They're fast, all playing defense, and Smith has played as well as I've seen him. We'll see if they can keep it up though.

Columbus fired their head coach and hired Torts. That should be interesting.

Duncan Keith had surgery and is out 4 to 6 weeks. Chicago is in for a rough season, and this is part of why. While the healthy lineup is not bad, they do not have much depth for injuries, and there will be more before the season is done.

So far today for Patrice Bergeron...a goal, an assist, and a new baby. Guy has to be on cloud 9!

And then, an overtime loss to the Flyers after being ahead 4-2 on home ice in Boston. :lamo

(I had already gone to bed thinking the Flyers had lost that game after the end of the second period)

Washington Capitals starting hot...so what's new? They can NEVER sustain a hot start. Never.

How much fun is it right now to see Pittsburgh and Boston struggling? Hint - lots of fun.

New York teams doing fairly well, and very surprised with Flyers actually sitting mid pack right now.

I know it won't last, but good to see.

Blackhawks just won their 7th straight. That includes shutouts of TB and Anaheim. Without Keith.

Wonder if the people here who thought they would barely make the playoffs are going to revise their opinions?
