Well in Bears news Brandon Marshall has been traded to the Jets- I know he was a distraction last season but he was the best WR the Bears had. I do hope they find a good replacement for him. This move worries me.

As far as the free agent crop- Looks like Ndakamung Suh will be a big winner- I wonder which team will land him. Any bets?

I would say Patriots with the loss of Vince Wilfork, but they won't spend that cash.

I doubt it. The Pats are in negative cap space right now. Meanwhile, teams like the Raiders and the Jaguars can spend around $60 million with their cap space- my guess is he lands on those two.

It's a shame if he goes there. Jacksonville is where players go to die. Like the Redskins.

That list is a bit old, the Dolphins have cleared a lot of cap space and from everything I heard one of the major players for Suh

Cutler was awful with Marshall to throw to. Can't wait to see how bad he'll be now without him.

Depends what he wants - the most money or a chance to win something. If it's the most money, then you have to figure that Jacksonville and Oakland are the favorites.

Agreed. According to Clayton, Seattle is 24m under the cap, not 18.

Well the list changes on a daily basis so its not really a surprise.

The Carolina Panthers announced Friday that Oher has been signed to a two-year contract, a month after the offensive tackle was waived by the Tennessee Titans.
no longer do the cats have to reach for an OT in the draft ... maybe luck into another good receiver
now to sign hardy and extend cam's contract

Still a good chance that Wilfork could end up coming back to NE if no one pays him what he's after which is not peanuts for an ageing player who recently had a major injury. Would love the Pats to gamble a little and go for the big name receiver like Andre Johnson.

The Hawks released Zach Miller though, that leaves you guys without a TE.

Certainly leaves a void. But it also frees up 2.4 million in cap space. Miller couldn't stay on the field. They still have Willson and Helfet. Expect them to make a run for Thomas or Jordan.

Not sure how much Johnson has in the tank. Hard to tell with the QB situation in Houston. Some expect Seattle to make a run at him as well.

Reggie Wayne could be cut as well, he could have one season left in him especially with a QB like Brady throwing to him for the short yards.

Well, my Bills got Shady, and Cassel, oh and Incognito, so we been busy. Is Shady worth that much.. Probably not, but we'll see what Rex has in store. I'm mixed on losing Hughes, I'd be curious to see how he does with guys not named, Williams, Williams, and Dareus. ;) We need another guard, and that ain't no joke, so I am hoping DW addresses that in either FA or the draft!

Tim-

The Eagles were praised for dumping McCoy off because he was "old" and used up but now they go out and sign an even older and more used up RB. Looks like its just more remnants of Kelly's power play, I bet hes back in college within 5 years

Damn, Devin McCourty is staying with the Pats. I really wished the Bears would have tried to get him, we need a safety.

Looks like Suh is going to be a dolphin, thats good news for me since he's out of the NFC North!

He had a QB rating last year of 88.6 while throwing a career high 28 TD's vs 18 INT's. While hardly stellar, it is no where near 'awful'.

Hell at this point, I'll happily take Troy Polamalu in a Bears jersey, our backfield isn't all too talented maybe outside of Kyle Fuller who I think will develop into an All-Pro once he gets ironed out of the rookie/young mistakes.
