Worst game of his career last night. Welcome home LeBbron.

What is he now, 5-0 when it comes to choking in BIG games when he is expected to shine?

James is so not like Mike.

Wait, what?

This is stupid. An opening night loss is not "choking."

And I don't see how he's never shined in a big game when he's won two championships. This thread is lame.

Ok, so a bad game or two. Not sure we have enough just yet to question his legacy.

What an incredibly stupid premise for a thread. And I can't stand Lebron James.

The only time he's dominated an important game was when he beat Detroit by himself, what? eight years ago, when he wasn't expected to do it. He choked in the finals though as San Antonio swept the Cavs. He choked against Boston the following year and again against Dallas the year after.

Big whoop he beat OKC! The Heat almost lost to SA the following year, and he lost to SA again last year.

Michael never no-showed a game in which everyone showed up just to see him. Hell, even when Detroit was whooping the Bulls, MJ still scored 50.

He's got the Bulls tonight. He better make amends.

LeBron "choked" in that first finals with Cleveland? That's ludicrous. The second-best player on his team was probably Larry Hughes, who is awful. That Cavs team had NO business in the finals.

I just don't think you know what "choking" means.

Honestly your premise is total nonsense. Total.

How many rings do you have?

He showed up tonight. 17 points, 2 boards, 2 assists and 2 steals already. Now that's worthy.

One of the hottest rivalries of the late 80s was between Chicago and Detroit.

From 1987 to 1990, the two teams met in the Playoffs, and Detroit kept winning all thanks to the “Jordan Rules,” which was a euphemism for harassing/mangling/gagging Jordan, and forcing his “teammates” to win the games.

In the conference finals of both the 1989 and the 1990 Playoffs, Detroit and Chicago would find themselves tied at 2 games apiece after 4 games played. Game 5, which is a crucial game in any series, wasn’t too kind to MJ. In the 1989 series, he would only score 18 points, and in the 1990 series, only 22 points—both of which are his lowest scoring outputs in the respective series.

Rose got hurt again. Maybe we should change the thread title.

It ain't 50!

And no, he didn't have more turnovers than points.
Ok, mr literal.

34 points tonight with 4 boards, assists and steals plus a block. Of course, it's easy to win with Rose in the lockerroom.

36 points, 8 boards, 4 assists and steals one block. All of it would have been more impressive if Rose wasn't hurt.

Why does Rose being hurt (shocker there) make it less impressive? Neither would have been guarding the other.

If Duncan went out in the third quarter of game whatever in last year's finals would it not have mattered? Seriously!

Rosé coming up lame is becoming a bigger story than James not having that fourth quarter.
