Phil Mickelson-playing at the memorial in Columbus Ohio, apparently was visited by federal agents today concerning allegations of insider trading. according to my local (CBS-Channel 12) Phil is not (yet?) a target in this investigation

Phil Mickelson makes me sick - he is the phoniest person in sports, in my view. Nothing would make me happier than seeing him perp-walked off some green on national TV sometime soon.

Memorial Tournament is at Muirfield Village which is in Dublin, Ohio. But none the less, he's not the target of the investigation. It's about Carl Icahan who "told" a sports better named Billy Walters that was was about to takeover Clorox.

From what I hear, the other players on the tour like playing with Woods because he's personable and friendly, the exact opposite of Mickelson. Mickelson plays the lovable goof for the crowds while being a total dick in person. I'd take Woods any day, although I love that he's not around right now and lots of other players are getting attention and wins.

I have no idea about other players on the tour and their feelings about either. But you obviously know a bunch of the pros to hear that kind of info. Woods is a dick out on the course. Throwing clubs, kicking at the turf, grimacing while mouthing the f word...and he can't keep the announcers' lips off his ass. I've had all I can take of Tiger and his hero worshiping announcers. The last two months of this season have been a joy to watch, without that prick. And Mickelson sure puts on a smiley face while playing. I couldn't care less what the other golfers think.

I don't like either one of them, but I prefer the volatile guy to the two faced phoney.

And I'll stick with Mickelson based upon first hand knowledge. In fact if I never see Woods back on the course it's OK with me. Meanwhile I can continue to watch and enjoy.

Is this the post-divorce Tiger, because before then he was considered the most private and cut-throat golfer ever.

I'm simply referring to comments I heard here, from a former PGA golfer who golfed with both men. Woods absolutely is driven on the golf course but he's not a dick like Mickelson.

I'll give you an anecdote - in one of the Ryder Cups or International competitions, Mickelson was playing one-on-one against Mike Weir, a Canadian pro. While Weir was in his backswing, Mickelson decided to open a bag of chips - big surprise Mickelson would be munching on chips. Weir went on to school Mickelson, beating him handily. Mickelson hates that Weir was the first "lefty" to win the Masters after Mickelson stated on TV that it was obvious that he would be the first.

It's that kind of thing, player to player, that has others in the game hating Mickelson, irrespective of the sweet, loveable goof that the dick likes to play up with the crowds.

I don't hate white folks at all. I just know your narrative that white players are discriminated against in the NFL is bull.

I play golf, I watch golf, but let's not pretend it ain't the whitest sport out there. It was a joke. Unclench.

They just said on the US Open coverage that Phil never even traded any Clorox stock, and that the original claims/story in the media were completely blown out of proportion.
