Best Recieving Corps going into 2014

Kearse and Baldwin are good receivers. But they're not exceptional. And they were going up against a clearly lacking and defeated Broncos secondary.

Harvin remains the viable and frightening threat he is, I'll give you that. But let Richardson and Norwood play a couple of Snaps before placing them so high.

Baldwin and Kearse are both very solid and were all year. As to Baldwin in particular... put him on a team that throws more his numbers prorate out to excellent. His efficiency on 3rd down is impressive. And yes if he stays healthy Harvin is indeed frightening. I said Richardson and Norwood were interesting gets. That was all I said. You're acting as if I crowned them all pro.

Solid, but not spectacular. That's not a huge issue for a team that runs as much as the Seahawks, but it doesn't make them All-Pros.

Excellent? Baldwin showed he can struggle against good corners. Arizona kept him to two catches total, and the Rams kept him quiet as well.

I'm not trying to diss the guy, mind you. But to say that he'd make an excellent receiver? I don't buy it.

That was all I said. You're acting as if I crowned them all pro.

The Seahawks are a fantastic team with excellent players, but to claim that they have the best Receiving Corps heading into the season is ludicrous.

Not one mention of the Hawks' recievers. And no they aren't pass happy. But Harvin is healthy. Baldwin And Kearse showed you their talent in the Superbowl. Richardson is an interesting get, as is Norwood. Look for Seattle to throw more this year.

No, we're acting like you crowned them one of the best recieving corps. The reason people are reacting to this is you responded to a therad about "Best Recieving Corps" and started your post with:

Not one mention of the Hawks' recievers.

As if you were surprised they weren't mentioned; which suggest that you felt they should've been mentioned.

When you yourself are simply labeling them as "solid", but you come into a thread talking about the best corps being incredulous to Seattle not being mentioned as one, you should understand why people reacted as you did.

Seattle has a solid recieving corp. And that's why they weren't mentioned on this thread aside from you.

Are they better a recieving corp than Denver? Chicago? Washington? San Francisco? Indy? Detroit? Atlanta? Green Bay? Cincinnati? Dallas?

Seattle's got some solid receivers, some guys with potential but who knows how they turn out, and a #1 guy whose far from a traditional #1 and whose played a full season once in five years and whose never started an entire season. There's a reason no one mentioned the Hawk's recievers.
