NASCAR tweaks Hall of Fame eligibility; some active drivers now eligible

Both though I do love WRC a bit more. I don't think it takes nearly as much skill as F1 or rally.

I like them all especially WRC. Although again I admit I didn't watch as much after Colin McRae Died. I have a bad habit of picking favorites that end up dying in air accidents. Colin in a Helicopter, Davey Allison in a helicopter, and Alan Kulwicki in A plane wreck.

My opinion is it takes a different skill set for each but they are all equal.

Yeah, I prefer F1, though I did enjoy it when Carl Edwards beat Michael Schumacher in the Race of Champions a few years back. Mainly because a lot of F1 people can be condescending douches.

Just watched it and have to say that was pretty cool. Thanks for mentioning it.

Man you need to hit some local races. We will be down that way again this year for speedweeks. I think we are going to hit three tracks this year. Bubba Raceway Park, Eastbay, Volusia Speedway. Let me know if you will be at the track.

Been to a bunch of local tracks, Bithlo and Volusia to help crew on a buddy's late model. Personally I am more into drag racing, did that for over 20 years in a Pro Street Monte Carlo SS.
Heck most of us drag racers don't even like the NHRA any more. And I lost a lot of respect when both sanctioning bodies threw Winston under the bus. And I don't even smoke.

So more people are being inducted into the prestigious Turning Left Hall of Fame?

Just like people who get in the "bouncing a ball HOF, or running a ball HOF, or hitting a ball HOF. Whats your point?

Volusia is a very cool fast track, but any screw ups and you are taking home a pile of scrap metal. It is fun to run against some of the best in the nation when you go there.

I watch Drag Racing as well. Went to the U.S. Nationals about 8 years ago. That was my first time at a pro drag race and have to say I was impressed. My only issue with drag racing is it seems like a lot of waiting around for a 12 sec pass. To each his own I guess.
