Can you watch a recorded game if you know the final score?

Can you watch a recorded game if you know the final score?

I can listen to songs over and over. I can watch a movie many times. I can even read books several times. But, if I know the final score of a game I cannot enjoy the game if I had recorded it for later viewing. Knowing the outcome takes away all the intensity and drama for me.

Nope. If I record a game, I have to make damn sure I don't know what happens, or immediately lose all interest in watching it.

Usually I can't, but there are a few exceptions. For instance I had to watch the Jeremy Lin game against the Lakers at MSG for its pure epicness even though I had already seen the box score.
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

Not a normal game. I can watch replays of Jordan's dominations and other amazing footage. However, if you mean Game 2 of the Spurs vs Clippers... no. Not even close.

Same here. I can watch highlights and great endings no problem.

Yes, but it really pisses me off if I hear the score on a game I know I am recording..

If my team wins then yes I can, I watch old Soccer games constantly for the full 90 mins. Obviously you miss the drama but If you love the game you can still enjoy wathcing it.

Very few games. Denmark vs Germany 1992 Euros.. Real Madrid vs Barcelona 2009 El classico that ended 2-6 to Barcelona, Bayern vs Man U Champions League final where Man U won it in time added on.. There are more.. but considering the amount of football games played and the amount I watch, then it is a relatively small portion
