    The only sport I like to watch is MMA and yes, I can enjoy a match if I know who wins.

    I think there is a difference between knowing the result and having seen the thing before. You can read a murder mystery you've read before without a problem (though it's a different experience) but having not read it, someone telling you the butler did it would spoil that first reading.
