Texas wins again...5 out of 10 cities with most growth right here in TEXAS

Fastest growing U.S. cities: Texas is king - May. 27, 2015

I guess people are getting tired of freezing to death, outrageous taxes, zoning(Houston has none), expensive housing, and being underemployed.

I pay $689 a month for my 3 BR 2 BATH 1700 sq ft house on an acre of land with a pond out back, and a lake 1/4 of a mile down the road.

Y'all come on down and smell the BBQ.

Evidently quite a few people are doing just that.

Austin is a liberal city in many ways, but is does not extend to the State House. Dems have allot of work to do to even come close to being influential in Austin. Local level there is much more of a mix, especially here in San Antonio. Heck, my congressman is a Dem, kinda like a white rhino in these parts lol

Dallas might be a bit more liberal these days. At least as far as the judiciary is concerned. A very good friend of mine is a three time serving Democratic Judge here.

I'm more of an outdoors person.

I prefer Nature.

Sprawling cities do nothing for me but sprawl. The last thing I want is more growth in Washington State.
Just don't break into the Green Acres song.
