Wendy Davis: Why I lied through my teeth when running for Governor of Texas

At least she is not about to be a convicted Felon like our new Repub AG.

Please note, I never claimed she left the marriage quickly. Rather, I claimed that she left the marriage when she no longer needed his cash. As a side note, the ex husband related that her visits home while at law school quickly became very infrequent and that her interest in her children slowed as hereducation and career accelerated. None of these accusations are earth shattering.

Though at their core, the ex husbands claims are "he said, she said", I personally find them very believable as the ex husband never made any scandal mongering claims about Wendy Davis to the Texas media. Instead, he simply refused to completely affirm all her past actions and choices.

He did Lie, hence a Liar why he is in deep poo. We have lots of politicians that Lie, here in Texas and around the Nation, look at who is leading in both Party nominations, Both Lie on a daily basis and yet the faithful cannot see it or make excuses for it.

She had a job when they divorced..so she didn't need his cash. She was married to Jeff Davis for eighteen years.

There's not enough iCloud (or the like) storage space to hold all of the lies made by every politician affiliated with every party that's ever existed. That considers themselves as liberal or conservatives (or switch hitters). And let's not leave out Independents.

So hows that for talking just about liars?

Note the two elements:

A- Quickly left the marriage
B- when the cash was no longer needed

B triggered A. Yes, it took a while for "B" to occur. But according to her husband, when "B" did occur, she quickly left the marriage.

Did he pay for her college loans in cash? I doubt it. Most likely it was monthly payments over a period of years and she helped to pay it off. They were married for four years before she had her second child and didn't leave the marriage until their son was fourteen. That's eighteen years of marriage. So to say she quickly left after the cash wasn't needed is extremely misleading.

The ex husband (moderately wealthy) stated that the loans and tuition were paid for in both cash that he had available and through a loan that he took out on his 401(K) plan.

Even if Davis was interested in paying back her ex husband, she had limited oppurtunities to do so. After graduating from Harvard, she only worked about three years in coorperate law where she earned a coorespondingly high salary (and even then, the big bucks dont come in the first years). She then got interested in politics, which costs money even at the local level. Her positions as an attorney were then with community based orgainizations which dont pay alot.

Face the music Moot....

Wendy Davis is no different than the tens of thousands of less famous conservatives, liberals, christians and agnostics who enter into marriages in part due to economic motivations. They then place their personal interests or career goals way before their marriage and their children. They, however, are not abusive and are not criminals. I have known one or two of the type over the years. I bet you have as well.

Everyone is mortal, but not everyone engages in the same behavior that Wendy Davis did. Some, however, do.

One such person would be the religous husband of a former co-worker of mine. Other than not being famous and his career interests being engineering and start ups as opposed to law and politics, he and Wendy are near mirror images of each other. They even have the same blond hair (Then again, maybe not. Is Davis authentic.... in regards to hair?;) )

This cant be shocking. There are many liberals (even on this site) that have claimed Obama has strait up lied about his faith and a belief in God, his original opposition to gay marriage, etc. to get elected.
