What actually defines a issue as a womens issue? Arent all issues just people issues in a free society.Ive heard alot of people talk about who has concern for womens issues but what does that mean.Abortion is the obvious one but its not like every women is pro-choice so what defines it as a womans issue?

Another off the top of my head, equal pay - for the same job women are generally paid less then men. |

Abortion, equal pay, etc. Then there are issues that aren't necessarily womens issues alone yet still it is women who are mostly concerned with them such as education, heath care, child care, etc. | |

At one point she was telling me about another delegate who was involved in an organization who supports females running for office. I asked her if said organization was supporting Palin, and of course it does not. The organization only supports candidates who are strong on women's issues, which of course means candidates who support the liberal position on issues involving women. | |
