So is it just the younger men or could you date an older man at all? |

| Re: Dating older women Why is age difference so important Middleground?
I've dated women the same age, older and younger and have no real preference - as long as there was mutual trust and respect I felt age was irrelevant to the relationship... and as long as they were older than 27 (the age of my GF when I met her) as by the age of 27 most people have some life experience to talk about and to share. |

I just don't see how a 60 year-old would have a lot in common with someone who's 30. I realize that people are different, and yes, it does work in certain circumstances, but from my observations, it generally doesn't. |

Current Mood: | Re: Dating older women It seems to be a trend in my family for men to marry the older woman. My mother is 2 yrs older than my dad. I'm 4 years older than my husband. My husbands parents are 10 years apart. But the worst is my dad and stepmother are 13 years apart but weren't married until he was 48 and she was 61. She looks like she could be my grandma (and a yard gnome, but to each their own I guess). |
