I never really fully understood why there is such a huge drive to look young. older women can be extremely attractive as long as they take care of their bodies.

but instead, they always cut their hair short, wear too much makeup, and try to look young, and it just doesn't work for most of them.

maybe its just me though.

My sex drive goes in phases. The only time it was really low was when my kids were babies. I breasfed them back to back. They were born close together and so I felt like I was doing nothing but breast feeding for 2 1/2 years. At the end of the day the last thing I wanted was someone else on me. Other than that time though I haven't noticed any decrease in drive with age. I do have phases where I'll want sex every day but mostly it's about 3-5 times a week. Trashy cheesy books with ridiculous covers bring out the best in me. So if I happen on a good one we'll have lots of sex that week. My husband complains he doesn't get enough but he started doing that the first week we were together so I don't pay it any mind.

Josh and I used to have sex three or four times a day every day. That was for the first two years or so. Then it dropped off to when we woke up and right before bed every day and maybe three times on weekend days. That lasted a year. Then it slacked off to about 4 times a week. That lasted another year or so.

The fifth year, we were having drive-by quickies in the hall or getting in and out of the shower in the mornings. We were getting bored. I knew exactly what it took to make him squirm and he knew exactly how to make me more compliant. It became an exercise in monotony.

Then we had a threesome while we were on vacation. Lawd ha' mercy it was on like donkey kong for the following three months. After that, we spent three months apart while he was here and I was back in Alaska. When we met up again, it was a week of swinging naked from the rafters like horny teenagers again, followed by a period of angry, resentful sex cuz I didn't want to be here.

Now that we have bought a house (we close and move in on the 15th), you would not believe the way he puts out again. It's like...he's nesting or something. I ain't complaining. We're back up to 3 times a day again, without fail.

I'm definitely more comfortable with my body now which is odd because while it's still in great shape it was definitely better when I was younger I think. But when I was younger I dressed in more bulky baggy clothes and was somewhat shy about stuff like running around on the beach in a bathing suit without some sort of cover up, mostly because I'm so white. Now I don't care and never think about hiding anything. Having kids barge in the bathroom on you 5 times a day will do it. Any sense of shame I might have had about anything is gone. Sometimes I think damn if only I had the "mind" that I have now when I was 19 or so. But then I'd probably have gotten in far more trouble than I did.

Yeah I think all couples go in phases depending on what's all going on. If we have an off phase then I figure it's cause my mind isn't being stimulated enough in a romantic way and that's when I go find a dirty book to sort of give it a kick.

Gay men must love the morning thing though, huh? Every man I've ever met wakes up ready to go and most women I've met are not into morning sex. That would probably be my man's biggest complaint. I'm not in the mood for what I call his biological boner at 5 AM. On the weekends I help him out. But 5 AM on weekdays he's on his own. If he wakes me up he's gonna get hit.

I don't have the early morning sex drive. I used to, but I think with our little guy I have come to value sleep more than morning nookie.

You are lucky! I usually only do that fully and to completion when I'm on the rag and too bloody to have sex anyway. Or if I lose a bet or we came to a bargain agreement. I guess I'm selfish like that. Or maybe I just like keeping some stuff as special favors for him.
