Does anybody care?

What's the point? Why wait until the entire series is over to state something like that? Why not define that in one of the seven books?

Why not leave it ambiguous as apparently that's the way the 7 books left it?

Is it strictly a publicity stunt on Rowling's part to raise more media coverage?

Is it OK if it's just a publicity stunt? That's capitalism isn't it? Marketing and advertising? Creating a buzz?

I knew evangelicals were right to ban their children from reading Harry Potter. Not only is there evil sorcery involved, but now gays too(bolded and italicized for emphasis)

His sexuality was never even something that crossed my mind while reading the books or watching the movies. It has absolutely nothing to do with the storyline and I really don't see why it matters and/or why she decided to "out" him now.

Ok i have 2 points A i d ont really know too much about the whole harry potter thing but does it discuss every charactors sexuality most bokks dont except the main charactors.
