Stinky? It's not his sweat, it's your nose - Yahoo! News

Quote:
CHICAGO (Reuters) - When it comes to a man's body odor, the fragrance -- or stench -- is in the nose of the beholder, according to U.S. researchers who suggest a single gene may determine how people perceive body odor.

The study, published online on Sunday in the journal Nature, helps explain why the same sweaty man can smell like vanilla to some, like urine to others and for about a third of adults, have no smell at all.
So girls and gay guys, male sweat. Does it smell sweet or rank or nothing at all?? Do you like a man's sweat just after he comes fresh from the gym?

Mmm, yes. Right after a run when he's all sweaty and glistening. Unfortunately he doesn't like it and hops right into the shower. C'est la vie.

A single gene aye?

We’ll call it, “the gay gene”, since research supports born homosexuality as being influenced heavily by how pheromones are interpreted.

I like the "gay gene" smell. Of course I would Im gay. I always wear Obession deo and colonge or Fierce by A&F and it blends right in with my own chemistry, and gives me my own "gay gene" scent.

No, it doesn't.

There is no evidence that pheromones have much if any influence on HUMAN behavior. I know you got excited about an experiment where they screwed up some MICE and they behaved like drunk roller-girls. But that experiment's applicability to human behavior is tangential and insignificant at best.

Re: Stinky? It's not his sweat, it's your nose

I don't mind the smell of sweat, but forgive me for being blunt...men have a STRONG odor 'down there' after a very hard workout. I'm not saying women don't sweat down there or whatever, but a mans scent is definitely stronger when it comes to sweating and odor!
