Do you like a guy with some chest hair and some scruff on his face?? Or do you prefer your men hairless with plucked eyebrows, and a small amount of foundation on his cheeks?

Basically I am trying to figure out if women really like these guys that primp themselves or not. It seems like all the "Hollywood" types are girlish guys and I was wondering if this is more of a hollywood creation or the general pulse of women in America. |

Gender: | Re: Manly men, or effeminante men?? I really don't care much for "pretty boys" myself. I prefer scruffy faces, manly chests.
Now, while my preference (given the choice) may be for a hairy chest, that doesn't mean I find bare chests inherently unattractive. A guy can be very "manly", IMO, and still have a bare chest. But, if I were forced to choose between *specifically* and only bare chest or hairy chest, not taking anything else into consideration... I'd choose hairy.
But I like chests in general. hehe
I especially like the "treasure trail" on men.
This kind poll came around frequently when LotR was just out. Folks polled women on who they found the most attractive character. Aragorn was the scruffy, manly one... while Legolas (IMO) was the "pretty boy". I'd have to say.. most of the polls were fairly evenly divided. However, the majority of the females who voted for the "pretty boy" were teens. Not sure what that means. LOL

It's just what I find attractive. LOL I don't choose who I'm attracted to. But I guess I just like men to be manly, and women to be womanly. Since I have an attraction to both genders, I want them to be distinct. I don't find "butch" women attractive. I find curvy, voluptuous women attractive. Not skinny piles of bones either. I don't find effeminant men attractive. I find manly men attractive. Tall, scruffy, larger builds than I am (which isn't hard). I like the distinction. The merging of the two is extremely unattractive to me because it's the differences that make each so attractive, IMO. |

LOL | Well i found it funny when the latest Harry Potter came out, everybody is talking about how ripped and everything the Harry Potter kid was. No he isn't. He's just a scrawny teen. |

I can't BE attracted to him because he's not a MAN, imo. He's still a kid. And that isn't something attractive to me. I guess that's part of the reason I don't find effeminant guys attractive... they remind me of young boys. |

I know I don't. I'm with rivrrat though I like real MEN with hair. I think the traits she said she is attracted to in men and woman is alot what I am attracted to, too. |

Don't get me wrong, I like to wear a wife beater around the house, or when I am working on my car. But never in public. |
