There you go. You know a lot more about that than I do. For that matter you know more a lot more about than anyone I know.

    Since you're new here...
And that means I should know that there are a lot of men here who shave their legs?

My father was a fighter pilot, flew the Phantom II.
Your father is into the Marilyn Manson look as well, is he?

Me? I was on the 6-A 16-0 Kansas State Champion Football team (Derby Ks) back when we were stationed at McConnell. I spend the first 10 years of my life in the US Navy.
All kidding aside, that means little to me in the light of your revelation.

I'm Married, twice, have two kids, and am hardly the "Metrosexual" type.
Your hairless self soon will be.

You're that scary kinda "Me MAN!" beat chest and have to prove it everyday I've never understood type. EVER.
I'm myself and most comfortable in it. I guess I'm lucky that way.

If I were "testing the waters" as you said, with regards to coming out and telling the world "Hey, I'm really a woman" your reaction would be a big reason to never do so.
Nope. I never said that nor did I suggest it. I wouldn't care one way or the other. If it will make you happy, go for it. Really, I don't care. You are looking for an argument where there isn't one. I am saying - as I have said all along - that if you are a straight male and you want to have your beard permanently removed that I think you are making a big mistake. You asked, I replied. In fact, if you go back and read my previous posts I said that I support it if you are transitioning, that would make sense.

I had an interesting conversation at work that I thought would perk the "ears" of some of the members here. How do you see defined gender roles, and is doing something like this blurring that line?
It's not something I haven't given any thought to. I'm interested in a lot of things, but blurring sex lines has never been an interest. I am happy with who I am. Blurring sex roles is not on my radar. You obviously think about it a great deal. I don't.

Me, I think it is blurring that line but whatever. To be completely honest, if you gave me a pill tomorrow to be hair free sans the eyebrows/lashes down, I'd take it in a HEART BEAT.
It's obvious that you and I don't run in the same circles.

Btw... my username is not "Sparky". I would suggest that you simmer down a bit. As I am a mod, consider that a strong suggestion.
"Sparky" is a violation or is it that members are required to defer to mods in discussions? Bait me all you want, I'm not biting.

"Sparky" could be a violation regardless of who you use it towards. And no one is baiting you.

I've known some M2F trans folks. One was a good friend, took me by complete surprise. I decided to understand the issue instead of resorting to ignorance.

It means your pre-conceptions are going to land you in hot water.

It is obvious that you exist in your world, and it's a small place indeed.

Yes, I could see you being a real friend of the Trans community...

if it's of no interest, why the amount of energy spent in this thread?

It's a great idea, I can never be ****ed with personal grooming (I only get a few haircuts a year ) so it sounds like a great idea to me.

I think beards look great on some men, but only full beards. If all you've got are a few whiskers or you are just too lazy to deal with it anymore, then electrolysis might be the best bet. Though take it from me, it's a long and uncomfortable process. They zap one hair follicle at a time!
