What are the Muslims' viewpoints on human sexuality? Are they for human experimentation or do they hold sexuality to be a 'sacred' act? Even in 'temple prostitution', whose prostitutes were prostitutes of the Temple, the people who frequented them thought they were being accepted by the Temple god and so performed the act in the temple. Since they were too ashamed to do the act anywhere else, they may have done the act 'in front of god' so as to not be later punished. We know that the temple prostitutes of the old days were gay males, sodomites.

Qur’an 23:1-6—The Believers must (eventually) win through—those who humble themselves in their prayers; who avoid vain talk; who are active in deeds of charity; who abstain from sex, except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess—for (in their case) they are free from blame.

Qur’an 70:22-30—Not so those devoted to Prayer—those who remain steadfast to their prayer; and those in whose wealth is a recognized right for the (needy) who asks and him who is prevented (for some reason from asking); and those who hold to the truth of the Day Of Judgement; and those who fear the displeasure of their Lord—for their Lord’s displeasure is the opposite of Peace and Tranquility—and those who guard their chastity, except with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hands possess—for (then) they are not to be blamed.

Qur’an 33:50—O Prophet! surely We have made lawful to you your wives whom you have given their dowries, and those whom your right hand possesses out of those whom Allah has given to you as prisoners of war ...

-------

For centuries Arab slave raiders captured European women and conscripted them into their harems and brothels. Now Muslim immigrants in Europe rape European women.

When the Pakistani Army invaded Bangladesh it raped Bangladeshi women on a large scale. When the Iraqi Army invaded Kuwait it raped Kuwaiti women on a large scale.

In Muslim countries women who are raped are often killed by their male relatives. This is even true when those male relatives are the ones who raped the women.

So they were acting like the Serbs did in Bosnia? Oh wait, they were Christians raping Muslims, maybe I should not bring up how often Christians rape other Christians.......................

Nothing in the New Testament authorizes rape. The Koran does authorize rape.

..and the usual argument of "Well a Christian did something that is completely un-Biblical, so when a Muslim does the same thing that is perfectly acceptable by Q'Ranic standards, it's the same thing."

And people get confused when it is claimed that, 'religion poisons everything'?

When people claim that Christianity is morally equivalent to Islam they make irrelevant comparisons.

The vast majority of terrorist acts in the world today are committed by Muslims. Nevertheless, if you mention Islamic terrorism they will say, "Oh yeah? What about the Westboro Church?' Or they will mention someone who blue up an abortion clinic - although this hardly ever happens.

This is false, the Koran does not authorize rape, feel free to prove otherwise. And unfortunately for you, if you believe in the NT, you must believe and accept the morality and teachings of the OT. You cannot discard what your God says while continuing to hold him as a source for morality.

This is actually an interesting question. I have a feeling there won't be much a response.

well some choose to get confused, the rest of us are pretty clear that religion can be used to justify anything

but

it also works for some and they are better for it

if we could follow...each to his own just don't step on mine....we would all be good

Correct, that said the Bible does condone slavery, adultery, and killing of those that break morality rules, to name a couple.

Not an argument, simply stating facts so that the readers get the whole truth and not simply the truth some wish to project. I try applying that wherever I believe it is needed, and I would think it would not bother someone such as yourself that wants the entire truth presented.
The simple fact is we are Men, and as such we use power and religion to further our own goals, we use them as a screen to mask who we really are when we do bad things, and it shows how far mankind still has to evolve as an "Intelligent Species".

ISIS cites Quran to justify child rape

[Forbidden to you are] married women, except those whom you own as slaves.

Quran 4:24,

If you fear that you cannot treat [orphan girls] with fairness, then you may marry other women who seem good to you: two, three, or four of them. But if you fear that you cannot maintain equality among them, marry one only or any slave-girl you may own.

Quran 4:3,

So pretty much sex slaves unless you don't consider sex slaves rape..

To give you the jist of it, though the final answer is vastly more complex, no sex before marriage, no homosexuality, no abortion except in life threatening situations, masturbation is surprisingly ok in general but many localised sects and govts soppose it. basically islam does not promote exploration, and sticks to the old abrahamic standards.

Fyi when i was deployed in afghaniastan, there were many woman who worked as prostitutes, but they were very well under the radar and were selective on clientel or even admitting it, since the local culture viewed it as a sin worthy of the death ppenalty.

Notice none of the verses listed say you can have sex with someone against their will, which is what rape is. Unless you are using a different definition of rape. If you do, please go ahead and explain what you mean by rape, and how it applied to the verses listed.

Can you find that in the New Testament please?

This is a euphemism for rape, " (the captives) whom their right hands possess."

It does look like Muslim men enjoy molesting young boys on an industrial scale while ignoring and oppressing women. Child molestation does seem to be a cultural fixture throughout the Middle East, and even accepted. Perhaps if women were freed and Arabs made a more inclusive society, they could reduce this problem and create a better sexual environment. Locking women away and sleeping with little boys while segregating the sexes is disgusting.

The Bible is made up of Two Books, The Old and New Testament, one cannot believe in the words within one and ignore the other. Nice try.

In what language? certainly not English, and not Arabic either. What your "right hand possess" is a euphemism for slavery, not rape.
