That was just awkward and pretty blatant lecturing. It reminds me of that underwear commercial of a female firefighter lecturing everyone on how hard it is to be a firefighter as a woman.

So, if this thread is going to turn into a which beer is good and which is terrible or EXTRA-terrible with a side scoop of ****ty... what beer would you folks consider good? And, TheGoverness, how do you know Bud Light is terrible? Aren't you under the age to drink???

As for the real thread topic, I don't have a problem with corporations taking a stand on current events or national issues. I do think that the two people they have as talent in those commercials are far from talented, and are as offensive as a person could be and still get paid to be on TV. Just my opinion. Those two people in the commercial offend me, the fact that the commercial gives a shout out to trans-gender, or whatever the label may be, is cool. I also like the point they make by saying Budweiser will sell you beer no matter who you are, a fact they have proven over and over again here in the South, all along the Appalachian Mountain Range, the Borough of Queens, and of course, California.
 
The problem with the commercial is that it lectures people unintentionally. This is actually a pretty common problem with these kind of things. Some company wants to come out and act like they're all supportive of the new thing to be supportive of, but end up doing a great deal of lecturing on the issue on accident.

I don't care how good their commercials are, I will NOT drink a Bud, a Bud Light, or anything made by Anheuser-Busch, or any other mass-production beers that imitate Bud. On a hot, sweaty day, given a choice between a cold Bud and tap water, I'll take tap water any day.

Im from PA of course I drink Yuengs BUT it's not my fav of course and I can't drink it all night. It's to heavy of a beer for me to drink like more than 5 of them, at least thats the effect it has on me.
 
Bud light is good for when you've been outside on a hot day and don't have any water.

It's better for sure, but it's not that much better. I mean, Coors Original and Yuengling are on par to me.

Also, green bottles suck.

LOL maybe not but I'm weird, there are other beers that don't sit with me like yuengs do I don't know why. Maybe its something else in the ingredients that gets me. I can drink blue moons all night and when I go to the piano bar they have craft beers and besides there darkest one i can handle those too..........

then again it could be because of the amount of them i drank in my life time and young days . . . maybe my body is just like, oh boy not those again KNOCK IT OFF and wont let me drink anymore LOL
