How do humans naturally reproduce?

Cloning. Moses told some French guy this when the guy came across his space ship one night. Moses the alien said were doing it wrong and should be cloning ourselves, not mating.

That didn't end well for the Asgardians.

/Abortion/ is that way. Your question has no place in a discussion about reproduction.

 I never mentioned abortion. You must be projecting some kind of presumption onto me.

What are some of the different ways and challenges to becoming a biological parent? Adoption and foster care need not be mentioned henceforth.

Here are some resources from Wikipedia. I noticed that some users appear to either not be open about their sexuality, or have misunderstood biological conception.

These mechanisms are involved in delivering reproductive material to the uterus. Think back to sex ed class in high school. That means a woman's body. I think there was an attempted uterine transplant earlier this year, but it was rejected. So only woman can deliver a baby, not men.

I'd surmise that humans naturally reproduced like other primates, with high ranking males dominating the females.

Luckily, we overcame this because the females had an inherent affinity for prostitution in the form of increased provisions, and males had an inherent affinity for having faithful women, according to this theory :

I guess you're right that there are some women who are barren and some women who may otherwise lack a healthy uterus who do not believe they will become pregnant. This thread is not meant to discriminate against people who cannot reproduce, but to show that those who do are capable of using well defined biological mechanisms. We know much about human biology. I am not a biologist, so I started this thread to share what I know from experience.

I don't see why we can't have a discussion about this as adults without crude humor or pornographic references. It seems I overestimated the candor of this sub-forum.

Think of it this way, why don't you. If correctly viewed, everything is lewd. And here we are awfully close to pornography for the run of the mill thinker to be able to discern. ;)

But I agree that the topic should be debatable in earnest.

Maybe you missed the second sentence in that quote? Your comments about deliberate mass murder don't contribute to sex and sexuality. Don't get catty with me, girlfriend.

Are you meaning to say humans should be used in animal husbandry, or that the aliens are like humans? I don't understand "the alien said we should be cloning ourselves."

Not really sure but apparently it has somethimg to do with the birds and the bees.
Specifically Storks but not sure what kind of bees. I am thinking honey bees because I hear couples call each other honey a lot.

No. I am referring to the religion of the Raelians. I was wrong about the name of the first alien the man met, but beyond that, pretty accurate.

This thread is weird. Can we just jump to the "gays are having unnatural sex" and "transgender people need to accept the sex they were born with" stuff? In a few decades I imagine you will be able to have a clone baby that was developed in the womb of a pig and nobody will care how "natural" it was.

I don't think that we can draw those conclusions from heterosexual relationships.

We shouldn't draw conclusions about homosexual relationships in order to attribute qualities like "unnatural" to heterosexual relationships. Natural reproduction is more or less not synthetic. Using an animal surrogate, while not natural of human reproduction, is not synthetic in its own right. Of course, we would like to avoid using such stark contrast between natural and synthetic. I think social problems result from misleading sexual attitudes toward reproduction and ad hoc sexualization. By speaking on the subject of reproduction as a consequence of sex, I am in no way suggesting that biological reproduction is the only function of sex.

Bonobos are as sexual as humans are, however we treat humans as a separate reproductive species. I prefer to think about human reproduction as analogous to plant reproduction, in an anatomical sense, to avoid animalistic details about menstruation or erections which require blood. But humans are not plants. Sometimes it's necessary to understand the details in order to make informed decisions.

I swear to god he thinks he's the only one who took sex ed.

Are you trying to teach a class, or are you asking for volunteers?

Unless we were talking about sea horses, yeah, but I don't believe this is the sex and sexuality of sea horses, unless I missed something, did I?
