Transjacktivism

That's the essence of it. I'm not sure why that gets a pass in our society. But, it certainly does...as long as it's not an exclusively all-white-male club, no one cares.

It doesn't anymore, according to Wikipedia, which said that last year was the last year it would be put on. I have little issue with it in reality, especially if it was all done on private property, but you (the women) can't pretend that its (having a one sex only festival) okay for you (the women) and then get upset someone else is doing it. We won't even get into the point that it would be illegal for them to check for penises before entry and the only other way is to go off of looks, which is stereotyping and a completely inaccurate way to determine sex.

I think my post #71 covers as a response to this.

Not really. I get that lines get long sometimes for women, but we still determine who goes to what restroom by looks, not checking legal sex. And changing this would not only make those lines longer, but also could be considered harassment if you don't do it to everyone. Some people look like they could be either sex.

I wonder if penis checkers would unionize....

 every other line in that post, other than this one addressed your post. ;)

Sort of. You still have an issue with it, saying it should be separated by post and pre op. The point is that not everyone goes that far, but simply lives their lives as the opposite sex as their birth. Why if they are dressed as a woman/man, walk like a woman/man, live their life as a woman/man, should they have to change that identity for a public restroom where they aren't even exposing themselves to anyone else? Having a penis or not doesn't change who they are in the restroom, so it wouldn't change anyone else's risk in the restroom.

It does start to become absurd when you think about it. I agree.

Thanks for the perspective.

I say that based on current societal and cultural realities, in my actual view, where one pee and poops really isn't something I care about all that much.

Why, thoughtI am curious is it so important, that a dood who feels he's a lady, or a lady who feels she's a d00d to use a certain bathroom or not.

Why do any of us feel more comfortable using a certain restroom? Why if the store is completely empty, only me and maybe one or two other women in it, would I go to the women's restroom further away than the men's restroom? It is because we generally feel more comfortable in someplace where we are used to going, not because of any actual fear of being attacked or having a man going to the restroom near us, or that we might see something. It is more of a habit, what we were taught to do, more than anything else. It is similar to how we eat or how we dress or other things we do that really don't need to be done the way they are, but we do them anyway.

Shouldn't at least minimally the bathroom of choice should match the plumbing?
I have been in plenty of public restrooms, using the one available, where the only difference between the two was literally the sign on the door, or maybe the pictures on the walls. No unrinals to mark a difference in "plumbing".
