Transjacktivism

Unless you're New York City and you have to call a MTF a he.

sorry I can't tell if this is sarcasm or a typo or what. A MtF wants you to call them "she" not "he". And naturally this whole thread show its bigotry as it completely ignores FtM's.

I'm honestly curious about what happens if you do indeed call a mtf he, or sicko, or disgusting.

Best I can come up with is somebody calls you a bigot. If people can call others things they don't want to be called others can call them what they don't want to be called. All things being equal.

Yeah but given his past posts, I think he was trying to assert that in NYC, one is required to call a MtF "she". Typos happen. I just want to be sure what he is typing before responding.

I just shrug, pity your ignorance and hope your idiocy doesn't catch on with others and is seen for what it is, intentional, willful obstinance.

Apparently in New York city people get crucified for it. They may have reverted to the bronze age. I'm not aware of that at least not in news circles.

New York Values... vote Trump, spread the love!

Sorry, couldn't' resist.

Absurd as it sounds, that does seem to be the case. This one, from the second article I linked, really blows my mind.

If I was a woman, I'd definitely be upset that a male pervert can suddenly become "one of us." Well, at least the crime statistics will not be so skewed anymore. Soon we will see that "woman" do actually commit as many violent sex crimes as men. :)

I'm a woman and it doesn't bother me. Why should it? Being transgender doesn't make a person a pervert, or more likely to be dirty or anything else, than either a man or woman (cisgender).

There aren't nearly enough transsexuals or men willing to pretend to "even out" crime stats.

As mentioned somewhere above, I have several rad fems in my family, and they have some very persuasive arguments. I guess, I side with them on this issue.

Just gonna leave this here.

And I have plenty of women in my family that agree with me. But beyond that, I work at a place that allows people to use whichever restroom/fitting room they want and there hasn't been an issue despite having some people, including transsexuals and even just spouses/SOs go into the "wrong" one. In the real world, most people either don't notice or don't care so it shouldn't matter. In fact, making a big deal out of it leads to some people thinking they don't have to do their job because they would be going into the restroom of the opposite sex (I really hate having to argue with some of my associates about how it is their job to clean both restrooms, not just the one that matches their sex).

You just hate it because you think bathrooms should be unisex. Most people don't agree with you and the reason or this difference in opinion is one of the reasons you have to argue with people that they have to clean both bathrooms. Really, I have to say I disagree with that policy too.

Maybe it's much ado about nothing, but the women I hear complaining about all this are mostly frustrated that once again, as they see it, men are pushing them around. This time it's the men using the excuse of being Transwomen, which the radical feminists see as men finding a new way to take over their "sacred" places. For them it's about losing hard fought turf...so maybe TERF is an apt term in the end.

No one is pushing them around. They have no right to a bathroom by themselves, or with just those that match their sex, at least not in public, restrooms they don't own. There is no sacred bathroom or locker room or changing room spaces that are open to the public. There are already laws that protect their privacy to the best extent policy, making sure that no one of either gender can legally spy on them or expose their genitalia to them on purpose, or worse. That is as close as they get. They don't own the "terf/turf" just because they are women.

Of course, the real sexism here is that no one says anything about women using the men's restrooms. Pretty sure many of those same women who complain about men (which is generally transgender women that they wouldn't notice without a second or third glance, if at all) wouldn't have much issue with a woman using the men's room just because the women's rooms are full with long lines.

Who cares if you disagree with the policy? You don't pay our paychecks nor decide who does what.

And I don't think bathrooms should be unisex. I don't care if they are or not. I simply think it doesn't matter if people use the restroom that best fits them, and since they are pretty much the same functionally, then it shouldn't really matter.

Maybe. I don't know. I believe there is a lot of sexism that goes un-policed by the SJWs as long as the sexists are in the socially accepted protected group. Same applies to racism. BUt, I won't get into that here...other than just the passing reference.

The one area a few of the radical feminists have really complained about was the controversy surrounding Michigan's Womyn Festival. Seems the ladies really enjoyed a man-free zone up there and absolutely hated the idea of anyone with a penis entering it. Of course, I believe the whole "women only" concept is sexist as hell. But, again, that is neither here nor there. It was a woman-only zone where those women felt men were invading by using this trans thing as an excuse.

That number is ridiculous. 80% my ass. However, I do believe that before you can go into the women's restroom or other "women's areas" you first have to be seen by a competent doctor, and evaluated. Thus my whole "Card" idea, to separate the perverts from the rest of us.

Shouldn't at least minimally the bathroom of choice should match the plumbing?

Both men and women of every race have kept the discussion about transsexuals to mainly MTFs, and completely ignored FTMs and women in men's restrooms, locker rooms, fitting rooms, etc.

As for women's only festivals or anything open to the public, it shouldn't be open to only one group of the public in the first place. Sorry to rain on everyone's parades but most of those same women born women would be complaining if men had something similar going on that only allowed men or if there were festivals that only allowed black people or white people, but they were "open to the public". Essentially it is "open to the public, but only a certain segment of the public". It's bull****.

Toilet works just as well for men or women. No issue with the plumbing there at all.

if you have a pee pee you go into the one that more likely than not has the urinals.

if you got all the way and cut your junk off, less of an issue.

Rev, when I'm en femme and out and about the last place I want to go when nature calls is to the men's room. Hiking up my dress to use the urinal is... well not really a player. I'm on hormones, I am under professional care, I'm not there to do anything but go and get on with my day. I agree there is a risk of idiots and scum abusing the freedom I enjoy for their own nefarious ends, why should I be harmed because of them?

Ultimately, I think it should be up to the private business what thier policy should be.

but in general, I think how our society and culture currently are, such separation may be best pre- and post.

Then again, if you've ever been to any event, play, show, game, the last thing anyone, including women would like to do is line up for the womens bathrooms as the lines are ridiculous.

The ultimate solution, should that be ever considered is the abolishment of bathrooms by sex.

Yeah, I'm learning that there is an advantage to being able to stride up to the trough and pee rather then wait for a stall. ;)

Why? All men's rooms have stalls. As do all women's rooms. Unless they are already single rooms and have a lock and wouldn't matter. Neither sex can see the other's privates unless they are trying to do so, but this is especially true in a woman's restroom, where everything is done behind closed stall doors. So it doesn't matter what's in a person's pants or not.

That's the essence of it. I'm not sure why that gets a pass in our society. But, it certainly does...as long as it's not an exclusively all-white-male club, no one cares.

I think my post #71 covers as a response to this.
