Some women and a few men are arguing that popular sites which have material which is offensive to women should be banned. The site belongs to Roosh V. Indeed, ROK has articles like "5 Reasons to Date a Girl With an Eating Disorder", and many articles which are indeed hate speech. Some of Roosh's books like Bang promote sexual coercion. That may be a case for banning. On Change.org, over 25,000 people have signed the petition to ban his site and 230,000 people have signed the petition to ban his books from Amazon.

And yet Main Stream Media has many things offensive to men. Like the books "Are Men Necessary", "The End of Men", and T-shirts like "Boys are stupid -- throw rocks at them", and pins, cups, stuff with "I ran into my ex... Put in reverse hit him again". A T-shirt saying "All Men Must Die -- Yes All Men" is also popular lately.

No it shouldn't. The internet is about the free exchange of ideas. If we censor any of them they are all in danger.

Make a website about why that website is wrong. Reading a few if their articles I was really kind of laughing. There isn't much in the way of information there. I see it mostly as writing copy.

Besides banning them will only make them more popular.

Many of the ideas seen as heretical in USA 2015 were accepted in 1915 and even in some places in 2015.

Thus, it is impossible to say who is right.

The law is the law but all moral values are subjective -- different from one society to another and one subgroup to another.

The concept of free speech nullifies the concept of spoken heresy.

Thus, it is impossible to say who is right.

The law is the constitution and our first listed right is the freedom of speech.

The Internet is run by private companies. Thus, if Internet providers could be pressured to ban some offensive views it would be legal. These views are only allowed due to Libertarian leaning of most Internet providers.

Mainstream Media almost never allows Political Incorrectness.

They can't really ban anybody, they just wouldn't host them. They could simply find another host.

PC is just a pretty word for lying.

I looked through the site briefly, and didn't see any threats or inciting violence. Which means shutting it down would violate the guy's 1st amendment rights to be a jerk.

As usual, people need to be reminded that there is no right to not be offended.

Actually most hosts uphold a very Libertarian policy -- the only exception is that most (like Facebook) would not host adult material.

Someone once said "you're doing something wrong if you don't offend at least one person a day."

The idea that you shouldn't offend anyone is ludicrous. Controversial ideas offend some people. That's life. You have no right to not be offended. You have no right to muzzle someone else.

It's a great magazine. They're currently running articles on Dominican women which, since all my black friends have been ranting about, I've been very curious.., and another on gayness which is very informative.

Return of Kings is one of the most reprehensible sites I have seen on the internet, but it should not be banned, just denounced.

I can't agree with any of your poll choices. The closest I can come is your third option but even that I don't agree with due to the "unless it is illegal in the USA" part. At this very site we have posters here that post from all parts of the world, many parts of Europe, some from the ME area etc etc. And just because it is illegal here in the US doesn't mean that its illegal in any other country. If the US started attempting to ban things that are perfectly legit in other countries then we'd start ending up like places like North Korea where only government approved "free" speech is allowed. No thanks.

As I understand many things are illegal in UK and many other countries that are legal in USA. But all speech legal there is also legal here.
