Sex For The First Time?

I wish to present a question for discussion. I'm asking out of curiosity, nothing more.

When you had sex for the first time, other than losing your virginity, did it change you in any way?

I was way too young and didn't associate sex with sensuality, love, or other more emotional and psychological things until I was in my 20's. I did develop an addiction - chasing that high rather than forming a bond.

And as a result I had a hell of a lot of sex before pregnancy finally came into play - honestly, for about a decade I think I believed I wasn't able to get pregnant at all.

It was messy. A bit of a struggle to get everything lined up, and then tricky to pull off. Over quick, a bit of an explosion, a bit of a let down. Kind of a "huh, so that's all it is". But afterwards I killed the chicken and fried it, and that was delicious.....

LMFAO :lamo

Sick, but funny as HAIL!!!!!

Uhhhh... yeah. That's how two cherry picked groups in close contact with cities behave. You continue to ignore the dozens of first contact reports from the Age of Discovery where sexual union and monogamy was far more ahhhh casual and offering women to guests was expected.

Sooo... For the record, you're saying that the two or three hundred year old sensationalized second hand accounts of a bunch of illiterate horny sailors who didn't know their ass from a hole in the ground are more credible than legitimate anthropological research. Nice.

Hey! You know what was probably really happening in those tribes? The sailors were basically getting married to the local women. They just didn't realize it because those tribes tended not to formalize things with official ceremonies.

Trying to leave afterwards was probably a bit awkward to say the least. lol

Oh and I'm still waiting on just how primitive tribes knew about STDs.

The same way everyone else prior to the 20th Century knew about them, perhaps?

Yes, I fell in love with the girl I had sex with, and although we were never married, I love her to this day. That is a side effect that I hadn't counted on. Don't get me wrong, I love my wife, too, but I have never been able to give myself completely to her because someone else already has a part of me. It's the same for her. We make the best of it but it would have been great if we had been able to belong to no one but each other in this lifetime.

Hopefully, I'll be able to let you know after this weekend. It would've been sooner, but last weekend my credit card was declined.

Doesn't your gf accept cash?

This first time was pretty awkward because we were in my gf's sister's house. Somehow I had the feeling that she would show up any time. Second time was awesome!

Soooo for the record, you're saying hundreds of first hand accounts don't matter but your cherry picked pair that had long time contact with 'society' are the be all end all??? :doh

Seriously, for far longer than our 'western' history, people have engaged in a wide variety of social/sexual arrangements. To include the sharing of women to bind the clan to only with permission of the chief may anyone couple. Some societies kept young man's 'single' until after a certain age, or had earned the 'right' to mate. You use a western term 'married' when the actual western term is dating. Many tribes in the South Seas had very casual relationships. There simply isn't a level of commitment equiv to marriage, but western early missionaries attempted to fit their world view into tribal life.

You, like the early missionaries, see the world through your prism... :peace

Hmmmm... Well, let's see. Sensationalized secondhand accounts from bumpkins with no actual qualifications, vs actually scientific analysis by experts.

Yup. The experts win.

The simple fact of the matter is that you have absolutely no idea how any of these tribes lived, so you should really stop pretending like you do.

A bunch of dumbass sailors came back in the early days of exploration talking about all of the slutty native women they supposedly had sex with, and you take it as being solid gold fact. I'm sorry, but what you're spouting is myth, plain and simple.

Actual research in more recent decades have shown that most of those initial reports were either exaggerated, or outright fabricated. Most tribes live more or less like we do, sexually speaking.

They might not have formalized religious notions of lifelong marriage, but most people find one mate to settle down with for at least a few years before moving on to the next one. Wild promiscuity in the modern Western style is rare or unheard of, and taking another man's woman is more likely to get someone killed than result in social "bonding."

You claim a lot about 'scientific analysis' yet I don't see the citation...

You use the typical fail crap of denigrating the contemporary source and glorifying some vague present source. Those 'dumbass sailors' were the ship's OFFICERS, many of the officers and doctors were men of some education and science. Can I throw in Eskimo rituals of offering the wife to a visitor? ;)

You keep trying to claim the other option from monogamy is some 'hippy' crap... again, like the early missionaries you attempt to force the world to fit your rather flawed bias, to have the world be missionary and make what you see as marriage have roots deep into other cultures where it never existed. 'Taking' another's wife may get you killed but if she decides she wants to spend time with another the 'husband' would be shunned if he refused...

What do you call 'modern Western style'??? Say Greek or Roman orgies? Palace concubines??? Slaves for casual sex release? Mistresses for the nobles, whores never seemed to lack for clients, even in societies where strong religious taboos were in place for straying from the marital bed.... Here your 'formal' marriage exists alongside 'hippy orgies'... :peace

Who barely spoke the local language, if they spoke it at all, had no understanding of the local culture, only a very limited time to observe, and no real training in anthropology.

Again, it's far more likely that these sailors simply scored local girlfriends who assumed that the men would take them aboard when they left, than it is that any of these tribes made a habit of "offering" nubile young women to total strangers like party favors.

Source stating that this is actually a real thing?

I call it social disease, spawned from having too many people living too close together in ways nature never intended.

Primitive peoples are probably a bit less wild in this regard than we are, truth be told.

Like most people, I was alone at the time I first had sex.

So second time sex? Not really.... I guess after my first time I was like, "wow that feels great. Lets do it again in like 20 minutes".... Then after my second time was like, "wow that was good. Lets do it again in like 40 minutes"....

Why the long wait?

I always thought I "reloaded" pretty quick..

Yes --- it did change me. I was in a relationship for two years before sensual intimacy began. It did bring us closer and more connected and was loving and I have /no regrets. I guess i was fortunate.

Yet the … on the other hand I had new issues. Worries on pregnancy if BC failed , worries of safety of and reliability of BC, worries I had given up my complete innocence and was not just a carefree young lady. I was not the kind of person that like a man would just ignore or run from paternity or have an abortion if pregnant. ( Although) I do support women who want the right to make their own decisions about their body).

Both genders waiting later and being more mature is much better for development imho and having that experience in a loving trusting relationship is to me the only experience that enhances sensual intimacy.

I think the current internet porn scene ( that seems to be the first sexual experience of humans today) has ruined many great sex experiences for people. The men and women in those porn clips look like the distorted people and sensual and fulfilling intimacy is not a series of acrobatic acts with surgically altered women and men.

Most adolescents first years of sexual experience are now watching such and it is rewiring and distorting their brains and possibly ruinning their life experiences or creating anxieties about their bodies. Trust me --- I have seen tens of thousands of people in raw nudity ( men and women do not look like the altered porn stars with their surgically altered genitalia and extreme photoshopped bodies from head to toe.

While I firmly believe what two consenting adults decide to do in their bedroom is a private matter --- most of the acts on the porn sites would not bring intimacy and real sensual satisfaction to many couples trying to connect in mind , body and soul and have an intimate sexual connection.

I am not an uptight person at all … female and have a pretty good athletic physique and am very comfortable with my own sexuality. I only added this part as my perspective might lead others to believe otherwise.
