What does sex mean to a hooker?

You mean less complicated but more dangerous?

No. I mean vapid, pointless, and unfulfilling vs an expression of love.

My goodness. You are a romantic.

PS: But I will admit that I love a good crab cake.

Interesting.

I guess this is one of those things I never really thought about and just figured everyone else feels the same way I do. I suppose there's people out there who are really into casual sex, so perhaps some people do find it fulfilling?

I would suspect prostitutes are more like I am in regards to this. Sex for work is vapid, pointless, and uninteresting. Sex with someone you love is exciting, fulfilling, and romantic. But I'm just guessing here. That's how I feel about sex generally, and it seems the most likely point of view of a prostitute as well.

Which means...I think like a prostitute...WTH?!

They have all the fun I am sure! ;)

I remember reading why most Hookers will not kiss their clients. They believe that it is the last form of affection they reserve for someone they love or are emotionally attached too.

Well that is a little odd.. I never heard of such a thing.

There are erotic healers all over the world, many of whom operate in legally oppressive environments. I forget which European country it is - it may be the Netherlands - but people are allowed to hire sexual services, including sexual counselors and erotic healers, as part of government health care.

I know it may seem odd, but if you think about it, sexual health is just as important as any other kind of health. People who have a history of sexual trauma, shaming, harassment, or other pressures, could use a safe, secure, professional and sexual healing environment. Unfortunately, most countries have laws which are based on shaming sexuality, so people never get the help they need. In Europe I met a young woman with her masters degree in clinical psychology, and she was a sexual healer. Sometimes her work involved consensual sexual acts, other times it was just talk therapy. In North American law, such a professional would be deemed equal to a street sex worker who is merely subsistence level. Our laws are draconian.

I mean, look at our basic premise of sexual education in America. It's mostly based on sexual anatomy, and biological facts. Yet even that is controversial, for some reason. In sex ed, there is never the opportunity to discuss healthy relationships, how to sexually please your partner, how to avoid sexual shaming and causing emotional harm -- there is no roadmap for what having a healthy sexual being would even look like, because it's deemed too "liberal" or something.

IMO if we had more sexual healing services, there'd be less rape and domestic violence.

Whoever told you working girls dont kiss their clients was lying.

I've seen 2 documentaries about the working girls of Nevada and in both of them all the girls make it clear that they don't kiss their clients. I have also asked some working girls face to face if they do and they say they don't. Now I'm sure their are girls that do but I suspect most don't. I thought this was common knowledge.

I have sex with prostitutes all the time - all over the world. Met up with one earlier today here in Seattle in fact. I can assure you, most kiss.

Yeah? Do you smell the last guy they serviced?

Do people think that they cant separate their private lives from their work lives?

Millions of people do it. For prostitutes, perhaps the significance of sex at work is different than sex with a loving partner. Certainly there would be differences in emotions, intimacy, intensity, etc.

Sex is more than just mechanics but just IMO, prostitutes can probably reduce it to that as needed.

That is assuming everyone has sex at work, where most would only reserve that at home with people they love. So having sex at work, is what most do alone in the home with certain people changes the game.

It by no means meant sex at work, it meant people's jobs. Period. Having sex with strangers is a prostitute's job.

Maybe it's you projecting your own feelings about sex onto others that allowed you to miss what I actually wrote.

I watched a documentary on male sex prostitutes bought by women. At first I thought "lucky guys" but soon I thought, how ugly is a woman that has to but sex? I threw up shortly after :)

Maybe they just want to avoid dangerous guys or assholes or just want someone that comes with a guarantee that they are actually good at giving a woman pleasure? (Women know better than to take this for granted with men.)
