Here comes the classic question ---when there are two persons available for you as a new boyfriend or girlfriend, which one do you choose? The one with whom you feel extremely good like a princess, or the one who tries so hard and you feel freedom and joy (you also have feelings but it's a different style )

All else being equal, frankly you're better off with the one who loves you most, rather than the one you love the most. A bit cynical I know...

I usually just go for whatever one strings me along then blows me off. It's not particularly fulfilling but at least I know what to expect.

Go for both. Polyamory is a valid option these days.

At least don't settle down to just dating one too quickly.

I don't really understand the two feelings you listed, so I can't give you specific advice. If you feel good don't you feel freedom and joy?

If by "like a princess" you mean they make all the decisions, they order your meals, they arrange your schedule and pick your friends, then obviously don't go for that one.

This seems more like a self help and advice question but, considering where it is posted, the one that gives you better sex is not a bad bet, at least to keep on the side. ;)

I picked a woman who not only was low maintenance she is NO maintenance. She even changes her own oil.

I guess it woudl depend on what I was lookign for. If it was jsut sex I`d probably go for the one I was more physically attracted to. If it was for a relationship I`d go for the one I was more emotionally attracted to.

Yes. It is her. She told me that if I asked for advice from friends, chances are most of them would ask me to give up. She told me multiple times that she is not a good girl but I just feel that life isn't easy and I shouldn't be daunted by difficulties easily. Yes this sounds naive.
I may start a new relationship when another good chance comes.

Are you seriously telling us your choices are between the B**** fom the netherworld and someone that actually likes and cares about you?
This isnt even a question. It might not work out with the one that likes you but it isnt a guaranteed rollercoaster ride through the 7 circles of hell that will leave you miserable, broke and broken!

Life may not be easy. But why start it by cutting off an arm and a leg? If even your g/f is telling you to give her up - I'd listen to her and your friends if I were you. There will be many walls in your life that you will beat your head against. This doesn't have to be one of them.

Pretty much the same advice I was going to give. Why more people aren't willing to accept multiple partners (not sexually) during the dating stage is beyond me. That's what that stage is for, trying people out and seeing if the love there is worth pursuing for the long term.

Whatever happened to dating? You know...you dated different people and then, maybe, you picked someone to go 'steady' with. LOL

Really tho, I think 'browsing' is a good idea, and not getting so wrapped up in 'oh, he's the one!' every time. And I think that's mostly women, which just places unrealistic expectations on the relationship.

I guess the 'dating' thing worked better back in the days when people were not as quick to have sex. People's (esp. women's) expectations seem to have remained the same, while sexual mores have undergone alot of changes.

Of course, the browsing thing is complicated by pressure to have sex as soon as possible...again....if women are going to give in to such pressures before they are comfortable or the guy says he's interested in more of a committed relationship, then they need to seriously readjust their expectations and not place more import on sex than...it's just sex.

It applies to men too but I think women are less likely to press for sex first in a relationship.
