

Ya know, not really. I admit I haven't extensively tested the theory, but the times I've had sex in a hotel room have either been pretty bad or decidedly mediocre, even with someone I usually have good sex with. I dunno. Something creepy about it.
Hostels, on the other hand... now that's fun. Maybe because you invariably wind up doing it somewhere unexpected to escape people.
Maybe it's the bed. Something weird about doin' it in an unfamiliar bed. Especially with the dingy lighting hotels tend to have, and the uninvitingly stiff sheets and pillows, in a room that's weirdly sterile but simultaneously sort of gross and beat up. The whole environment is just... strange.
Hostels don't tend to be like that. They're broken in, but in a cozy, interesting way, not a creepy, bleak way.

I agree (and I hope my wife never reads this) it is in hotel rooms where my wife became more "amenable" to new techniques, positions, and other stuff.
