Yep, I suffer from it time to time, and its not so much my legs as it is my right arm and upper body and it was kicking my ass last night
If you want to know what having RLS feels like, imagine the moment where you're just about to slip into REM sleep and then BAM !!
Electrical pulses shoot down your legs and arms causing them to jerk. This of-course wakes you up and the only way to stop it is to get out of bed and stand
They subside, so you try to go back to bed and just when you're starting to slip back into REM sleep, BAM !
This cycle goes on for HOURS, to the point where youre too exausted to stand anymore, but thats the only way to get relief.
You cant sit in your favorite chair and sleep, RLS will have none of that. Its for a lack of a better word torture and after 4 hours of it your begging God to put you out of your misery
Sure, a hot shower or bath helps, but its only temporary.
