Once you finish the first row the steps would have to go in the opposite direction as the first set of steps.
| Check the fine art. Quote: |
Eventially the staircase would run the length of the pyramid..then what? Where would the staircase extend?
| The steps switch back and forth up the center of the south face of the pyramid. Quote: |
The steps would be a major problem for 2 reasons. 1. They would have to extend as high as the pyramid itself to put the top on.
| Of course they would. that's the whole point. To get blocks up. Quote: |
2. It would require a major dissasembly effort to deconstruct the staircase. It would be extremely difficult if not impossible to dissasemble it.
| You've never done construction, have you? My steps consist of 2020 blocks. The pyramid consists of 2.3 million. So you think they said, "Ah, that's too much work, screw it"? You take the top steps down the steps below it. Then the next level. The reverse of how they went up. Quote: |
I hope I'm not sounding fecicious. It's an interesting and good theory..you just have to work out the knitty gritty details.
| That's what we are doing here. If I can make you all see this, then I'm golden. Give me the materials and I can do it. It's another thing to explain it in text and drawings to satisfaction. Quote: |

Sometimes you have to get in there with the lever and do a little adjustment. Part of the game. My fine art just gives the overall jist. Don't scrutinize it too hard. Try to understand the method, don't get bogged down in the minutia. There is a zen like flow to moving these things. Nothings hard and fast. Adaptability and creativity is the key. I've left other little errors in my drawing you guys haven't caught yet. Don't be getting too proud of yourselves. And for your post..sometimes when you get inertia going the weight will still spin that roller in place and the block will ride up onto the smaller rollers. I got way more. |

Current Mood: | Re: How to build a Pyramid. I've been thinking about the interiors that Tasha was talking about: who's to say that they didn't use different methods for different tasks? You don't use a screwdriver to pound in a nail so perhaps the best method for the interior and more intricate portions which required a more subtle touch was the method proposed by you and that scientist guy who teach (that's 9) called a hack and the lever was used for the exterior because it was simpler and easier just like you would use a crane for lifting heavy objects if you have to but if you can get away with it you would rather use the strength of three people. As for not finding the tools at the sight of the pyramid I don't believe that they've found any tools have they that's why how they exactly built it is still up for debate.

I wasn't aware that such was taught in school. Been a while since I was in school. Way to refute my theory. Outstanding debate tactics. Let me retort using your method. "Yes they were". Your turn. In my theory I state that I think slaves were not used. So, how were the pyramids built?
Still trying to figure out the wooden boulders part... |
