And now for something completely bizarre

Amid rumors that the Large Hadron Collider may soon be shut down, 2 very prominent scientists have come up with a reason:

The LHC releases Higgs bosons which ripple back in time and affect the past, causing the collider to be shut down before it releases the Higgs bosons. Thus the Higgs bosons are never found due to their actually being found.

Article is here.

Yeah, just try to define Time without using the word Time, or a synonym of Time....

Definition ofv time: Time is the data of reference obtained from the comparison of the motion of things.

You find a regular motion, like the vibration frequency of the atom of Caesium or the rotation of earth, and these regular motions are used to be compared with the motion of microscopic particles and macroscopic bodies.

Regular motion is the physical phenomenon from which we have invented the idea and measure of time, and time itself is no more than that, a concept.

Otherwise, feel free to post here the tens, hundreds, thousands, or millions of tests made to prove the existence of a physical time. Search the web, you might find thousands of sites showing the tests, the dates of the tests, the scientists involved, the methods used, the results, etc.

Go ahead, make my day

Time, like gravity, the infinite reaches of space, the infinite reaches of atomic particles, the origins of the universe, etc. are beyond human comprehension. Such things can be measured, quantified, and/or "defined" all day, but we still do not fully understand them...and probably won't for many more generations.
There is a lot of knowledge out there that we have barely scratched the surface of. Just my humble opinion....
