| Re: Qwest introduces 20 megabit DSL in some areas The prices of American Isps are not reasonable. People are being gouged for the amount of bandwidth they can actually use. The hardware is so oversold, that only the massive ignorance on the average user keeps the system from slowing to a crawl. The ISPs received massive government help in setting up the original infrastructure of the internet in the U.S., because they promised to abide by the rules and to innovate new hardware to deal with increasing demand and speed. They have failed on both fronts.
