So how long before taxpayers have to pay for two men to have children?

This is interesting, but as a rule, I tend to audibly sigh every time I hear that humans are trying to find yet more ways to make more of us when there's already 7 billion. I have approximately the same reaction to this as I did to womb transplants.

All we need now is artificial wombs and women could effectively be eliminated from the species.

Many well adjusted children are raised by gay couples. My friend's wife was raised by lesbians, and she may be more normal than most people I know.

That's great and all, but I don't care. There is no good reason to do all this nonsense just so two men or two women can have children. They can already adopt and frankly that is enough. I also don't buy for a millisecond that two people from the same sex are equal to two people from the opposite sex. Sorry, but I just don't.

You don't have to buy it. It doesn't affect you.

If they develop a way for two people in a committed same-sex relationship to have actual biological children of their own? More power to them.

And those children will be nothing more than test tube babies. Don't we already have enough of them running around? Do we really need more ways to create children? If they want children they already have functional organs to do that.

Well, that's what they are. Do facts bother you or something? They will be just the consequence of scientists that were doing something they had no business doing in the first place. Like I said, there is no valid reason for scientists to even be looking into the matter. If you want children women are right there for you to ****.

It's always a good thing to eliminate the need of one of the sexes, right? I guess it's better to accept homosexuality and give them children then to just tell homosexuals that they shouldn't be ****ing other people from the same sex.

The same purpose they have always had. But I guess when you only see women as baby machines, that is hard to conceive.

Imagine all the kids my husband and I could have and they will all be raised by a same-sex couple. How would that make you feel?

Nature only gives them the purpose of being baby machines, not me. They carry the young in an organ designed for that purpose and give birth through a vaginal canal again for that exact purpose. After birth they feed the child with milk from breasts again for the exact reason to feed the child. They are for all intents and purposes baby machines.

Also, from reading about this further it appears an egg is still used.
